Elphelt |
Shotgun | Special | Usable | She has good stats. But shotgun powercreep is real. Also if you have her, you've been playing a long time. Why don't you have a better shotgun? Huh? Waifu? No, she's shit. Get over it. On top of that she has a nuke skill that... honestly doesnt usually come up, but when it does, it's pretty much the biggest nuke on a shotgun you get (2 hits for 8x vs primary, 12x area around primary). As a bonus, if the first shot kills the primary, the secondary BOOM changes targets (uses standard grenade targeting). Note that due to her ammo and reload speeds, if you want to fire the first nuke immediately, you will likely need to reload cancel her. |
Jill Stingray |
Handgun | Special | Mixing Drinks, Changing Metas | It's time to mix drinks and change formations. As a bartender, one might wonder exactly WHAT Jill can possibly do on a battlefield, and I'm sure she's asking the same thing. Jill has a lot of firsts. She's the first unit in the game a player can use that doesn't shoot at all. She's the first one to have 8 different unique gears, and she's the first one to have a skill whose effects vary based on equipment. She's also the first one to have such an annoyingly complicated skill. The skill is everything. Her tile buffs are great, but they HAVE to be, because she doesn't contribute damage on her own. What her FP stat does is make her skill CD go down faster (except initial. Also caps at 30%, but this is INDEPENDENT of the reduction from rifle tilebuffs so yes, THOSE stack. Multiplicatively.). Unfortunately this means while she's good, how good she is depends almost entirely on how much you can use her ability to mix drinks, which btw, she can't do properly until lvl80. Drinks are discussed in more detail in the detail page, because this is gonna be a long one. |
Dorothy Haze |
Submachine Gun | Special | Versatile, especially in bed | Yes I know that's not really her name. And yes, you'd think the unit whose hands are actual guns would be a handgun, but nope, she's an SMG. MICAAAAAAAA. She has a pretty interesting skill that reminds some of C-MS. What it is is mildly more complicated, because it comes with good AND bad sides, and allows her to be both a main tank and an off tank. As an off tank, she provides decent firepower with 100% uptime, a debuff no one cares about (-acc) and a really nice buff (constant eva up!) for the main tank, while as a main tank she has permanent Eva up, buffs acc of the same column ("vertical row") but actually makes the off tanks (or just people in the same column) a little less survivable. Skill discussed in more detail in her entry, but its fun stuff. A problem she has though is the shape of the tiles. That lacking middle row really gets in the way, but she has enough other uses that this isn't too awful if you know what you're doing (For example, you want to buff the everloving bajeezus out of your main tank's dodge instead). Also she buffs Rifles with her tiles too too, but this doesn't seem to come up all that much. |
Dana Zane |
Shotgun | Special | Usable | It's the best boss! AND she has a rocket punch! ...She's actually really fuckin' weird for a shotgun. She has 22 armour which makes her decent at shotgun things, but the rest of her kit is pretty nonstandard. First she has a permanent slug effect of being single target but doing bonus damage. You'd think this would make her do less than slugs, but apparently between her raw firepower stats, buckshot increasing her firepower some more, and her unique gear ALSO increasing her firepower, she ends up with more damage than a typical shotgun with slugs. She does have a knockback skill but it's slow at 8s, and at having 1 ammo limit, it means her RoF is more limited. So if you want a purely tanky shotgun, she's worse at it than a typical one. She does however produce surprising damage from her rocket punches, and she has very good tile buffs for a shotgun. |
El Fail |
Handgun | Special | It's ok | Like an anti-Clear. Instead of buffing allies, she debuffs enemies. She strums five times, each time applying a three-second rate of fire and accuracy debuff to three enemies, meaning a set of five strums can debuff up to 15 enemies. The debuff prioritizes enemies with the highest HP that have not yet gotten a debuff. Once all enemies have been debuffed, she starts over again, debuffing the highest HP enemy that hasn't been debuffed on the current cycle of the enemy list until all strums are used, and they can be stacked on any given enemy up to twice. The debuffs are alright, but Clear is usually better. Still, she can help your tank survive if for some reason you require more tankiness over more dakka. Due to the short duration of the debuff, she tends to work better on bosses. Also take note that like Clear, if she's supposed to be playing when she has to move, SHE DOESN'T PLAY FOR THAT MOMENT. So, for best results, make sure she can sit still and play. Fortunately moving doesn't cancel the performance entirely, and just suspends it. This does make Jaguars and enemy mortars annoying as fuck though. Also Dmesse's waifu, buy her skin. (This is not a message paid by Dmesse to spread smug Waterkuma doll greatness) |
El Clear |
Handgun | Special | Yes | Actually a pretty strong buffer. Her skill is a lie, it isn't actually random: It actually buffs allies in order of Damage Done, skipping herself. This means the top damage contributor is buffed first, then the 2nd, and so on. Once she goes through the list, she starts again from the top. This makes her fairly reliable if your comp has reliable damage. She also gives a HUGE boost with her special equipment. MAKE SURE YOU GET HER SPECIAL EQUIPMENT. |
Angelica |
Assault Rifle | Special | Basically AUG but less random | She's basically AUG, but without the random fire mechanic. Which makes sense because she has an AUG. This logic doesn't work for any of the other girls, but shush. If you'd like an evaluation of AUG to get an idea of how good Angelica is, here's AUG's article. |
Triela |
Shotgun | Special | Meme Shotgun Goes Stab | On one hand, she's actually not bad in melee. On the other, she suffers from dumb mechanics (like not being able to switch to melee while reloading, which WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY NICE). She's not terrible at the role of "melee shotgun" (she's actually quite good at it), but the number of situations where you'd actually want a melee shotgun are quite limited. |
Agent Vector |
Submachine Gun | Special | Must have all her special gear or she's basically useless | She's not the worst tank, but she's expensive to raise, and she needs her ability active to really tank. Unfortunately her base ability is meh, meaning she needs all three of her special gear equipped to be actually any fucking good. With her gear, she's acceptable, with alright uptime, but her barriers are inevitably going to fail and while the evasion boost is nice, the game has other tanks that are just as good. Still, if you must use her for some reason, there are worse tanks... provided you have the gear for her, anyway. So make sure you have her gear equipped and leveled, or don't even bother. |
Medusa |
Assault Rifle | Special | Debuffer AR which is weird | On one hand, her passive debuffs the enemy quite nicely. On the other hand, her stats kinda suck, and her active is basically a glorified stun, and yes, anything immune to stun is immune to her, too. Since EN lacks the chip, she actually has good DPS. Once EN gets the chip, her DPS is kinda meh. |
Minos |
Shotgun | Special | Overly slow with her shield, sadly, but the shield value is high | The beef-loving cowgirl from a very weird show. She has a shield, but it takes way too long to pop up before it's useful in most cases, as it only pops up with her reload cycle. On the other hand, it's a huge shield, but in many cases you're better off with other shield SGs. She's not the worst SG though I guess, so run her if you don't have anything better. |
Calico M950A Mod |
Handgun | ★★★★★★ | Manages to somehow be even better than the original | One important thing with her mod is that she has a backwards facing tile now. This means fun times for Python fans, Nagant users, or users of any doll who prefers to be in the middle of the back row and could benefit from an attack speed buff, which happens a lot of the time. She also debuffs the enemy if the node you're fighting on is controlled by you, and buffs your attack and move speed if it isn't, but those are kind of icing on the cake for an already useful doll. Oh, and the move speed buff is hilarious when combined with other move speed buffs, turning Hanyang Mod into a a rocket. This makes some boss fights hilariously easy as you give no fucks about their mechanics, and 60s is long enough for most battles. You can probably leave her at Mod2, but her Mod3 equip is a suppressor equivalent with +20 evade at max. It's up to you whether that's worth it or not. |
RO635 Mod |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★★ | Cant touch this Cue Music | The first 6 star SMG, and oh boy, she deserves it. As long as the damage isn't so overwhelming that it can kill her dummies outright, she has a chance to negate the damage. The chances increase if the enemy has more debuffs or has Marks of Vengeance on them, which immediately makes her a good pair with M4. Also the Sop doll is cute and comes with weird features. This is literally Sop's fault. |
Calico M950A |
Handgun | ★★★★★ | Recommended | Very good benefits for night battle albeit on a slightly odd shaped aura, but easily workable still. Paired with guns that need a lot of RoF boost like Lee-Enfield a lot. Also allows WA2k to max out her RoF immediately through just their 2 buffs + formation buff tiles. Though largely pointless for MGs, she enables one of the most stupidly high damage formations in the game, the M4 deathsquad. While not always relevant, a big jupiter cannon strapped onto a T-Doll can do good work. GREEN IS THE DANG— She now has a mod, which can be viewed here |
FABARM SAT-8 |
Shotgun | ★★★★★ | Usable | She's still usable and good enough to deal with older content just fine, but the new shotguns currently available just blow her out of the water so hard. Sad day to be a pizzalion. That skill happens to be giving your entire front row a 35HP shield, that takes armour into account first. It also has 5/8 uptime. Basically, if your SGs took scratch damage before? They should take literally nil now, unless its a really major fight or you were silly enough to go fight anti-armour enemies. |
