AKA Ak 5

An upgraded version of the FN FNC, both IRL and ingame. Like FNC, her 5/8 skill uptime makes her burstier than the 10/16 of G36, with better stats, which evens out to DPS comparable to G36. Not your first choice for ARs, but solid… if you can be arsed to farm her.

Choco tabemase? You get her for free and she performs OK. Has a long history of suffering in the game and may suffer from PTSD. Damage bonuses are nice, and she's just strong enough to take down a Jupiter cannon by herself, provided you have some cannon fodder between her and the Jupiter (which is mostly why she has PTSD).

She used to perform really well, and she does perform OK for cost to raise, but a 5-star and 3-star AR cost the same to actually use, and the newer ARs are much, much shinier. She's still OK but don't get too attached, you'll have better soon enough. Maybe she'll get a mod someday.

Kind of fetishized and sort of jailbait, but she's still a very solid option if you have her special equipment. Outside of that, she's pretty mid. She used to be the standard ARs were judged by, but now she's pretty irrelevant.

The Night Empress. Unfortunately, she's been going the way of many a monarch with the lower class overthrowing her. She used to be the last word for night battle ARs, but with AS VAL's mod, she has fallen behind. Turns out, being able to use a crit scope at night is very good. That being said, +200% damage at night is still decent and if you can't afford the mod, she's a good replacement.

Also, while enemy armor stacks superhard now, it's actually fine if you have sufficient +FP on your ARs to punch through. If you don't though, this still wont save you.

Similar to G41 in performance (actually slightly worse, but not significantly) and the artist just drawing their weird fetishes that land you in jail. She's basically a 5 star equivalent of Tavor sharing the primary weakness of taking 6s to startup instead of 4. The skill is good while active, but YMMV.

Honestly, the issue with any AR outside of the big mod ones, is that they just get gapped so hard unless they have a niche. ART556 does not. So you could use her, but....eh...?

Her skill consists of two parts:

• Make her use rifle targeting (backline priority): Originally, the gimmick was useless. However, now she definitely has a niche considering how often Mica likes to toss in weird enemy formations.
• Buff herself: Her stats are good to begin with, and the buff is beefy – this makes her an excellent AR for all purposes.

Overall solid. If you need her gimmick, she's amazing. If not...well, AR powercreep is real.

Okay so maybe China doesn't ABSOLUTELY hate Taiwan? Or else this gun wouldn't have stats literally on par with (or in many cases better than) actual 5 star ARs. She actually outdamages T91 during the day flat out. At night she's a super budget option that won't match 9A91 or any of the better ones, but at least she's cheap. She does however suffer from being a login doll, but she becomes permanently farmable later. Tile buffs are surprisingly alright for a free login doll.

Really a budget option, but at least one that isn't awful.

Gao.

Hatsune Miku becomes a T-doll. ...Yeah she's a login AR, what do you expect? Nothing to see here, move on.

Has both less FP AND a lower multiplier than you would want. The targeting thing where she shoots the highest FP enemy might be cool sometimes, but it will rarely ever come up.

Suffers from there being a more famous, better M82, also with pink hair.

This one is basically interchangeable with Tavor, who by now isn't nearly as useful because you should be drowning in high-end ARs. If you are not drowning in high-end ARs for some unfathomable reason, well, she isn't the worst thing ever.

Also has a combo skill with AK Alfa if you do the side story stuff, but AK Alfa isn't exactly wowing the charts either.

Can she dethrone AS Val's ridiculously solidified position as a top-tier damage dealer? ...Not really. She suffers from wanting some base crit rate, but making use of her crit rate requires either targets with shit evasion to begin with, a ridiculously high hit rate modifier somehow, or some other means of hitting targets at night. She might have some uses, but she's harder to use than AS Val, and you don't get much in exchange for it.

No, she's not a video tape. One of her skins shows her recent arrival in the US has apparently given her quite the dump truck ass. Must be all the McDonalds. Her skill powers her up with extra stats relative to the enemies she's fighting, meaning she has basically no real use vs. mooks. Potentially handy vs. bosses, but being a RoF-focused AR, she suffers from chips existing.

Because we need more things named Type-88 clearly.

Has both active and passive bits to their skill. Her active mode is basically an FP up - you've seen this before. Her passive mode is based on moving around. By default, she's in LMG mode and fires from the shoulder, and has increased movespeed. Her accuracy however, suffers a debuff while in LMG mode (although thankfully her acc stat isn't awful). Once she sits still for 6 seconds though, she sets up her bipod and goes into HMG mode, which gives her an acc BUFF and extends her belt by 2 shots. She switches back to LMG mode if made to move.

Equivalent to Alma. Alma will win early volleys (first 2 mags) but Type-88 will deal more for extended (3+ belts) fights.

With gear, she effectively has a 45 round mag, although shots after her "normal" ammo capacity decrease her acc while upping her FP. This may be good or bad depending on what you're shooting, but she's perfect for low or 0 def enemies that you normally throw MGs at. This is pretty good, but not particularly great compared to the more modern MGs.

A quirk though is if she moves after beginning to go into her reserve ammo, her gun will be considered "empty" and she will need to reload.
