FX-05

FX-05
Assault Rifle ★★★★ Surprisingly OK if you still are short on ARs for some reason, but otherwise eh.

Basically what you'd expect from something that's the standard of the Mexican Army. Frankly, at this point there's so many good ARs that another one would have to be REALLY good to get a real recommendation, and this one isn't going to win any medals, but she has good uptime and is cheap.

XM-8 Mod

XM-8 Mod
Assault Rifle ★★★★★ Support Grenadier

She still doesn't compete with SOP or 416, but her ability to debuff enemies AND remove their buffs gives her value. Not a grenadier you'll use often, but she definitely has her uses now that Mica team are throwing bullshit enemies at people during events regularly.

KRISS Vector

KRISS Vector
Submachine Gun ★★★★★ Strong early, less relevant later.

The flame witch that destroys all with atomic molotovs. Between a 7x damage explosion and 15x more over 5s as a DoT, she's an acceptable tank but does best as an off-tank and dealing damage. Ideal for clearing scouts and other high-dodge targets in night battles, or eradicating swarms. Pump up her raw damage stat and watch the fun. Not great for direct fire, but the molotov is that strong when leveled.

Unfortunately, later in the game, molotovs fall off pretty hard outside of farming setups. Still pretty worth it if you need a molotov and don't want to pay for Micro Uzi's mod.

FN Herstal P90

FN Herstal P90
Submachine Gun ★★★★★ Strong Main Tank

Everyone knows the joke by now. If not, you've been living in a hole for the past 20 years. Now more associated with Russia (who people the gun was specifically meant to shoot at, as it was part of a PDW project that worried about armoured Russian soldiers) than with Belgium (which many people dont seem to realize is a country). Mostly noted on older servers for an utterly ABYSMAL rate which led to drama that resulted in Mica integrating official recipes into the client + promising more common true core masks. Also, surprised people by being drawn by LM7 instead of Suisai, despite being an FN product.

For performance, she's a fairly powerful dodger with a bonus offensive function, and her tiles aren't bad. In terms of sheer survival potential, she's 1 of the best, although occasionally stuff acts weird due to her shadow clones (which btw, interact WEIRDLY with the game). Of note, the shadow clones only copy the number of active remaining links, so you do want to keep as many links intact as possible for that (or not, see detailed notes). Overall, a very strong main tank candidate that is really good at her survival job.

ADS (Avtomat Dvukhsredny Spetsial'ny)

ADS (Avtomat Dvukhsredny Spetsial'ny)
Assault Rifle ★★★★★ Specialist. Potentially Hilarious for Red Golyats.

Another weird Russian specialist gun, meant to fire both above and below the water, which is why the doll has weird underwater parts replacing her left leg.

Her skill is as annoying to explain as she is boring. Basically whenever she fires, she has a chance to apply debuffs (that reduce target RoF and move speed) on her target, which at 5 stacks, explodes in a grenade-like effect that deals damage and stuns the target. That's the passive. The active fires a debuff grenade that applies 3 debuff stacks (+2 for the primary target) and briefly increases her debuff proc chance to 100%.

Honestly it's really weird, but it has use for things like Golyats, which, coupled with things like shotgun knockback and some RoF buffs, can help deal with some of the more annoying enemies in the game (for certain patterns.)

Also has potential synergy with ACR kinda (though resetting debuff stacks when she triggers explosions makes it a little awkward)

Stirling

Stirling
Submachine Gun ★★★★★ Sorta okay. Good as a buff stat stick

As far as grenade damage goes, she's pretty awful, falling behind even Papasha Mod for raw damage. However, she supports other grenadiers and she has +30% FP as a formation buff. YMMV.

Saiga-12

Saiga-12
Shotgun ★★★★★ Solid General use 5 star Shotgun

Basically the world's most widely available magazine-fed self-loading Shotgun that actually works. Packing 23 base armour (2nd highest on an SG), a 3-tile FP buff, and a generous HP pool (1320 at 5 links), 5 shot mag (very high baseline for SGs), her base stats alone make her a pretty solid SG doll to take along.

That's good, since her skill is actually a little awkward.

First off, the 8s ICD actually puts it in the middle of a reload animation, so she doesn't actually fire it off at 8s unless you manually handle movement so she can fire at that point or you adjust her RoF (usually by giving her a scope with badly calibrated -RoF). Next, it's actually a skillshot, so it doesn't benefit from things like crits. On the otherhand it also means it can hit scouts at night, so hah. It's basically pretty goofily coded. However a side effect of the goofy code is once the skill is triggered, she can actually continue to fire it while moving so lol? Also it actually does a pretty chunky amount of damage if it does work.

Anyway it doesn't super matter, since most MG fights are over before the skill will matter anyway, so her really good base stats will carry the day.

H&K Fabarm FP6

H&K Fabarm FP6
Shotgun ★★★★★ Solid Base stats with weird skill

A shotgun from the makers of the SAT8! ...Except it's sold and marketed by HK because various reasons. It's... actually kinda so vanilla there's not many memes and I don't think any of them are really any good besides her silly Christmas outfit.

Excellent tilebuffs for running a 2SG frontline, while packing 24 armour (tied with KSG for highest base) while packing 1.3k HP at 5 links. This makes her useful regardless of everything else.

Her skill is a little questionable, but it stacks with itself multiplicatively (after armour) if 1 unit gets both (guaranteed if there's only 1 unit in the frontmost rank) and the knockback is, while not amazing, also not unwelcome. It's also on a 10second ICD so it'll rarely ever come up anyway, and her stats are solid for a frontrow tank in most typical fights with MGs.

Not as good as something like SAT8 in most situations, but not exactly something to turn away.

Avtomaticheskiy Pistolet Stechkina Mod

Avtomaticheskiy Pistolet Stechkina Mod
Handgun ★★★★★ Slight improvement, but not an especially large one

Stechkin's base version already got a pass for being usable.

Her mod gives a slight increase in her capabilities buff-wise. Her passive basically tries to turn her into a sorta-DPS to go with her buffs to allies, but TBH you'd be fine leaving it at the slight increase in power Mod 1 gives.

M26-MASS

M26-MASS
Shotgun ★★★★★ Shotgun Flex Pick

With LTLX7000 being out, the main question asked of most shotguns is "are they as good as LTLX?" As for M26-MASS, she does her damn best trying to be. While LTLX has her SUPER dumb damage mitigation in her active skill, M26 has it baked in as a passive. If any damage she takes is 5 or lower, it’s completely ignored, as if she had very good flash rounds. This is applied AFTER armor mitigation AND flash rounds. With flash rounds, she’s essentially immune to anything 8 damage or lower, which is very strong. However, if the enemy does too much damage, this passive does nothing. However, in current day, LS26 exists. This fixes damage taken to 5 which, spoiler, is negated by MASS's skill. Can be very strong to force MASS to tank some insane things. How often will that be used? Eh. It's neat at least.

The one thing she does have going for her with her passive is that she can actually mitigate damage that bypasses armor. You can entirely mitigate stuff like grenades through it. You could sit in gundam range for a bit and not fussed about it. You could even sit in Typhon lasers and be fine. (Depending on firepower of Typhon, please do not attempt without consulting a local doctor)

Overall, she does fall short of LTLX just due to the sheer power of doubling your armor along with 20% DR. The utility of her active also is less relevant compared to LTLX. Removing HP shields and buffs (which get far more common) is stronger than a Molotov and DR to backline. To add to that, the 6 second initial cooldown hampers the effectiveness of the backline portion of the skill. This is because most things that do target the backline would already be skullfucking you at that point. Other cases this is bad include maps M26 shouldn’t be brought to for one reason or another, like when shotguns are bad for it in general or you can’t use machine guns.

MG338

MG338
Machine Gun ★★★★★ Shoots Until she's #1

Another Dangerdrop daughter, except not as cute as M200.

She has two big things going for her: 1. She keeps firing until she's top of the damage list (fuckin' tryhard). 2. She will shoot the enemy with the highest FP.

So if you pair her with Kord who does bigdick burst damage, she will keep firing for a while.

HS2000

HS2000
Handgun ★★★★★ Shields are nice. She gives shields.

The weirdo, mildly creepy sweet potato. Honestly one of Waterkuma's better designs too. All sorts of adorable and frankly, the best shields you can get. Full party, 42-point shields, with stat buffs if the shield survives. The big thing is she can shield the whole echelon unconditionally, which helps massively for certain attacks like Doppel missile swarms, and can even negate them entirely with a bit of luck, or if you're using FP debuffers. As a result, she's a vital component of many weird teams purpose-built to kill some cheese enemies.

Farm your damned boxes and get her.

Heckler & Koch HK416 Mod

Heckler & Koch HK416 Mod
Assault Rifle ★★★★★★ She's still insufferable but she's actually good now

It's a shame she has voice lines now, since the best part about her mod was shutting up her annoying voice. But alas, you'll probably be hearing it, because unlike her basically not-worth-the-effort base form, this one is actually decent. The big change is the six second ICD, which lets her fire grenades within the lifetime of many fights in a meaningful way, unlike most other grenadiers.

This ironically makes her useless for Chapter 11 farming, but thankfully she's good for Chapter 12 farming.

The grenade itself is buffed somewhat, and the ICD also makes her a bit more stable than SOP for some fights (SOP retains the problem of "You need the enemy to still be worth hitting with grenades 8 seconds in"). Overall, decent grenadier that you'll likely use a fair bit for farming and events, helped by 416 playing a big role in a lot of event maps and thus getting stat buffed.

Oh, and get her equip when you can. it isn't stellar, but it beats the hell out of a frame that doesn't contribute to DPS.

i can't believe her fucking name is clukay

Her previous iteration can be found at this page

M1918 BAR Mod

M1918 BAR Mod
Machine Gun ★★★★★ She's alright, but she's really showing her age and also costs a lot for what you get

There was a two-year span where BAR Mod was unquestionably one of the best MGs in the game between her great skill and super good early reload cancel frames, that even resulted in debates over whether or not to use an ammo box for maximum early burst. EN skipped that period entirely and introduces her alongside one of her replacements.

Now, she's still decent at first mag fire, but she's really expensive for this, essentially making you pay for a full 4-star Mod for slightly better performance than M2HB. In the long term, she's outperformed by Lewis, who is introduced in Isomer.

So yeah... she's been replaced at half her job and she's really expensive to build up for the other. If you like her a lot though, she's not the worst Mod to spend on.

General Dynamics LWMMG Mod

General Dynamics LWMMG Mod
Machine Gun ★★★★ She's a better LWMMG, but now with more utility.

She actually gets some fairly hefty stat increases in her mod, with Mod 2 hitting as much FP as M2HB. The issues that 2 stars normally face (low skill values compared to higher ones, etc.) are pretty solved thanks to being upgraded to a 4 star, and it also gives her extra base ammo which helps out a lot. Overall a cheap mod to get, and honestly you get a fair bit of value off even just Mod 1.

She's pretty much an all-rounder MG, and with the Mod 2 skill, technically you're not limited to just SGs, but uh... the shield values are so low otherwise that it only really helps armored things, though I guess some people might find a use for that anyway. MATH BIT: Her Special Equip actually isn't awful, but tbh you're better off with an EOTech in most cases.
