Named after a Chinese rifle most of you have never heard of, because the dude who it's named after managed to die before he really got the rifle into mass production. Remember those old jokes about Chinese human wave attacks? For a rifle that's basically rarer than non-corrupt Chinese officials during its era, there are somehow enough of them to equip a human wave of dolls, since she can equip a bunch of extra dolls on top of her dummy links. She's actually interesting since her skill can let her swap between forward and back targeting priorities and the sheer number of links she has is useful in situations where you need a large number of hits to deal with enemies' mechanics. It got a lot of use in later rankings for good reason.

A self-depreciating doll that has severe confidence issues, which is suitable enough because IRL, it was so shit it was canned in favour of the less craptastic M2 revision.

Ingame, it's no better. With big bamboos you go big or you go home, and with the M1, you go home. Too weak stats, too weak multiplier, you're better off bringing Springfield and Mosin to resolve the battle in half as much time. If you're really in the market for a bamboo at all, which isn't terribly often.

That said she is 1 of very few login dolls to get really nice skins and so far all of her skins have actual stories attached.

Suffers from "another doll does the same thing she does but better" syndrome hard, because that better doll is the 2-star Nagant revolver (which you have no excuse for not being able to get) who gets a mod to provide offense AND defense, while VP70's just defense with a +hit formation buff. Glock 17, MP443 and TEC-9 are also things. Basically, she's unremarkable and other things exist. Also IOP needs to stop experimenting with T-doll spines.

Her Mod 3 unique equip is alright. It lets her punch through lighter armors, and otherwise is excellent at finishing off weakened enemies, rather than wasting full-power shots on them. This is usually a thing with rifles that don't quite instantly giblet their foes. Her tile buffs are pretty okay.

She's alright but not a priority.

A shotgun from the makers of the SAT8! ...Except it's sold and marketed by HK because various reasons. It's... actually kinda so vanilla there's not many memes and I don't think any of them are really any good besides her silly Christmas outfit.

Excellent tilebuffs for running a 2SG frontline, while packing 24 armour (tied with KSG for highest base) while packing 1.3k HP at 5 links. This makes her useful regardless of everything else.

Her skill is a little questionable, but it stacks with itself multiplicatively (after armour) if 1 unit gets both (guaranteed if there's only 1 unit in the frontmost rank) and the knockback is, while not amazing, also not unwelcome. It's also on a 10second ICD so it'll rarely ever come up anyway, and her stats are solid for a frontrow tank in most typical fights with MGs.

Not as good as something like SAT8 in most situations, but not exactly something to turn away.

She used to be useful because she had more true RoF than other MGs (9 frames vs 10) and was 1 of the faster reload cancels (with BAR). That was then.

Now type-88 MG and a certain titty hacker exist and her quirks dont apply anymore, and guess which EN got first.

Her skill is interesting but not exceptionally helpful. Also it actually slows down her movespeed, making anything involving walking take longer.

Basically, obsolescent before she was even released, just like the real gun. You can raise her if you want, though the big reason to raise her was she was an advantage doll in theatre mode 3 times in a row rather than combat effectiveness.

OK, your mileage may vary a lot for this one. Her Armor isn't great and she herself isn't exactly super tanky without her skill up. On the other hand, her skill might buff your other shotgun(s), so it may be useful for that.

After the Lord Browning made the 1911, he decided he could do better still. This is that better pistol. Suck it, fudds.

She has good performance at night, making enemies take more damage as long as they're debuffed (has good synergies with units that debuff) and she herself will inflict debuffs on enemies. She works nicely with KSVK mod, due to how KSVK mod's target priority works.

Even if you don't have her active going, her passive keeps at least some damage up at all times as long as you can keep debuffs up.

A pastiche of fetishes that the game somehow didn't cover before. Behold, armor-destroying big gun brown eyepatch girl. Fixed fire rate that's slightly jank due to how the game handles frame count (shouldn't matter though), and absolutely hates armor. Her skill is passive and her basically permanent 400% damage vs armored enemies lets her shred armored units fairly early on.

Her five second reload time may or may not matter very much, depending on circumstances.

Notably used in data sim setups.

The weirdo, mildly creepy sweet potato. Honestly one of Waterkuma's better designs too. All sorts of adorable and frankly, the best shields you can get. Full party, 42-point shields, with stat buffs if the shield survives. The big thing is she can shield the whole echelon unconditionally, which helps massively for certain attacks like Doppel missile swarms, and can even negate them entirely with a bit of luck, or if you're using FP debuffers. As a result, she's a vital component of many weird teams purpose-built to kill some cheese enemies.

Behold, the power of a mod that tries to power her up but leaves her suffering from the exact same problems she did to begin with. Her firepower isn't boosted enough, even with the special equipment. Her skill's initial cooldown is still eight seconds, and you still don't get much bang for your buck.

Base version has a separate entry if you're not depressed enough yet.

Every bit as good as she used to be awful; this is quite a feat, since she used to be IMMENSELY awful. You can make a fairly convincing argument she's a better value mod than AR team these days. She's that good. She's a little hard to use, sure, but she has piercing on a rifle and all sorts of minor extras.

She does have the issue of "can't equip PEQs" and thus suffers as much as any other rifle at night, but a rifle capable of dealing with enemy clusters a la M4 is very nice to have in general. She gets very heavy use in rankings for a reason.

Ironically for a rifle with a night-oriented skill, she works best during the day, because yeah, that issue about not being able to use PEQs.
