The specialty echelon I'm referring to is this:
Beach fairy is INSANELY good for this, but I think you could manage without it. Grapecano is 110% required, and QBZ is highly recommended. You could probably run RFB in place of her, but you'd likely need to do some retargeting to have RFB take out the Cyclops gunners. Do note that you have fairly easy access to repairs, so don't worry too much about perfecting fights. Even if you barely scrape through, you can recover. The fights this echelon will be taking is the Minotaur fights. They get much easier later in the map, but there's a few you basically need to fight early on.
Anyway, this is kind of a slugfest of a map. You're tasked with surviving a bit until backup arrives, but it's pretty rough with the Minotaurs you need to fight. Not really much else to say about the map aside from getting straight into it.
To start things off, we want to deploy our specialty echelon and two dummy echelons. You can swap around where each goes so deployment order doesn't really matter. Starting from the right Heliport, move to the top left and engage the first Minotaur with your specialty echelon. Once you've survived that fight, swap with the echelon on your HQ and repair. Swap over to the left Heliport and engage the other Minotaur to the top left. Have whatever dummy echelon that's on where the first Minotaur you killed was move up to the enemy Heliport above them. Move your specialty echelon to the top left as well, to the other Heliport over there. Deploy two more dummy echelons with your remaining AP.
On turn two, move your specialty echelon over to the Heliport on the right, and swap with the dummy echelon over there. Have that dummy echelon move up to the third enemy Heliport in that area. Now, use one of your dummy echelons to grab that barrel to the right of your starting Heliports. Time to commit some arson. Move that dummy echelon down, then right, then down again, so it's next to the trees. Douse the trees with it and set them on fire. Move that echelon to the left, to capture that enemy Heliport down there. Move the dummy echelon on the left Heliport up left one node.
Turn three will start and have two NPC echelons fly in. This also kills a death stack that was slowly approaching your HQ. Thank god. It ALSO gives you two Heavy Heliports to deploy HOCs from. This makes the remaining Minotaur fights much easier, so we want HOCs out ASAP. To start things off though, move the dummy echelon that did the arson over to the left so it captures another Heliport. Now, move Kar98k and Lee Enfield to their rights, so we can access both Heavy Heliports. Deploy two mortar HOCs from them to aid you in dealing with those Minotaurs. Make sure they're in range to the Minotaur that's encroaching on your HQ, then have your specialty echelon engage it. At this point it's cleanup. Make sure you have HOC support for any fights and scout the map for any remaining forces. Once you've eliminated them all, you'll have won.
