Recommended Echelon: +FP AR/SMG
What I mean by +FP AR/SMG is that you're recommended to take ARs that buff their FP, like 9A-91 or OTs-14. This is due to the Hydra pack on the 3rd party Heavy Heliport possibly giving players trouble. If you still have difficulties with it, you may need to deploy a RF echelon.
Objective 1 Strategy#
All you do for this is rush up to the red Heliport to the north of your Command Center. 1 turn, no tricks. Once the next turn starts, you'll secure the hostage and you win.
Objective 2 Strategy#
So, instead of the easy win, you need to make your way through zombie infested lands and then deal with the Military. This objective is all about conserving your ammo/MREs. You have no opportunities to resupply so make your 5 battles count.
Ideally you'll dodge most of the ELIDs until you get to the yellow nodes. Once you get there, wait for SOP2 and 416 to clear out the mortar emplacements and get rid of some of the Military guarding the heavy Heliport. You won't be able to get through all of them yourself. Stick back to just before the yellow nodes begin to avoid aggroing some extra attention.
After using the NPCs to clear out some of the enemies and the enemy mortars, make your way to the Heavy Heliport and deal with the Hydra there. Assuming you kill it, you'll come out with a victory.
