Stumbling Block
Objective: Survive 5 Turns
Turn Limit: 5
Echelon Limit: 3
Recommended Echelon(s): RF/HG (x2), Dummy
The grand finale of the Military and the last night map in chapter 3. True to those words, this is probably one of the more difficult maps to deal with. You have an overwhelmingly large amount of pretty strong Military units trying to ruin your day, with a couple of really strong Typhons to back them all up. Thankfully, you only have to survive the assault.
With only three echelons at your disposal, you have your work cut out for yourself though. You'll have enemies coming in from all directions, so with the ton of AP you start with, my suggestion is to clear out either the left or right side of the cube. Because the cube is tilted to a diamond, that would be the bottom left or the top right. You want to have a secure side so you have a place to resupply, cause you're gonna need it. The Heliports on the corners are the only places you can do so. So make sure you keep at least one or two captured.
I would also recommend to retreat the unit on your Command Center, because the Typhons that start in the center of the top and bottom of the cube have a large aggro radius that extends to your Command Center. Retreating the unit can avoid some potential losing scenarios from occurring. It also allows you to deploy a third echelon to help with killing things.
Aside from these few tips, there's not much to really say. Keep killing, make sure nothing gets to your Command Center, and let the NPC echelons assist in culling the horde of Military. If you need to repair, do so. Around turn 3 and on, you may want to look out for the Typhons getting close to your Command Center. If you don't have anything on it, they'll likely go for your other echelons or the NPC echelons. But keep an eye on them to be sure that you don't lose to them.
