Eclipse View EX/UX

 

Objective: Eliminate two marked enemies

Recommended Echelon(s): AR/SMG (x2), Dummy (x3)


Once again, we have a level filled with buff towers that we need to make use of, and we also need to be very aware of the effects they apply to enemies. To add to our issues, we also have teleporters that will spawn additional enemies that are annoying to deal with. All this while Narciss is attempting to delete us from the planet. Yes, she does have 19m CE; no, you do not want to fight her. All of her stats are in HP and force shield. Even if you could survive that long it would be a very boring fight of 90% DR and 3 million HP. 

Anyway, the idea for the map is to either be very confident in your abilities to clear out some decently difficult enemies, or to make use of buff towers for your own purposes. For this guide, I'll do the buff tower route. To do this, we need to go to the literal opposite side of the map and use the control hub to enable the towers for our own use. Very fun. So, let's begin.

To start things off, put your two AR/SMG echelons on the left two Heliports you have, and dummy echelons on the right two. We want to have one AR echelon available to defend our Heliports for a bit while the other deals with the map. We'll leave the AR on the left most Heliport there and move the other down. Replace that AR echelon with another dummy echelon. Engage the Grenadier echelon then move back and swap with the new dummy echelon to resupply that echelon. We'll need every bit of ammo. Swap back and move to the red buff tower. End the turn there. 

Narciss will move away from the node joining the two sides of the map, so we want to go through that. Continue to that side of the map by moving down instead of going left. We need every bit of AP here. Keep going left through the Punisher echelon and then head down, past the turret. You should be able to get to the Grenadier echelon, where you'll end the turn. 

Turn three will have you move your AR echelon all the way to the control hub controlling the structures in the map. Once you've used it, retreat your echelon. Back to the start. Swap your dummy echelon with the AR echelon still up there and move it down two nodes, we want her to bait Narciss away from where we need to move. Redeploy your AR echelon at the empty Heliport. End the turn here.

On turn four we'll just pass, so end the turn again. 

On turn five, move one of your AR echelons down to the red buff tower. Use it on yourself and start heading towards the Commander on the right side of the map. Make sure you have one AP to redeploy the dummy echelon you used to bait Narciss. 

On turn six, engage the Commander on the right. Move back to the red buff tower and use it on yourself again. Start heading to the left side Commander. 

On turn seven, head over to the remaining Commander, and if you want, use the blue buff tower on yourself. Engaging and killing the Commander will clear the map.
