F18 The Last Judgment UX

Objective: Defeat Shana. I think.

Recommended Echelon(s): AR/SMG (x2), HOC x2, Dummy with parachute, Dummy x2

 

Last map? Already? Well, less work for me since I'm sorta doing all of the guides the weekend before the event drops. Unwise decisions on my part, but hey that's what you get when you're lazy and actually have a job now. Side comments aside, we have a large host of enemies coming directly for our little base camp here while we need to disable a bunch of Paradeus trees for Shana to not be unkillable. This will take a smol bit of strategy to accomplish. And by that I mean abusing the ever living fuck out of gates. Let's get started.

To start things off, deploy two HOCs and your AR echelon. Have Contender move to the console over on the left, but don't quite use it yet. Move AR-15 over to the other console and use it to slam the Grenadier. Move your AR echelon over to the left one node and then deploy a second AR echelon. End turn.

Turn two starts and now we have a few more NPC squads added in to the mix. Ignore them for now and move your second AR echelon over to the Grenadier that just walked in. Deploy another echelon and move your first AR echelon over to the Hannibal on the left. Now we want to have Contender slam the gate. Do so. Now, move that other echelon off your Command Center to the left. Deploy a parachute dummy and have it parachute to the enemy Heliport at the top left of this section of the map. Deploy another dummy and then look over to the new NPC echelons. Move Judge down two nodes to capture that Heliport there. End turn.

Turn three. Have your dummy move over to the Paradeus tree two nodes to the right. Disable it. Retreat your first AR echelon and redeploy it on the Heliport your dummy took. Move both your HOCs as far as they can go near the left gate and then end turn.

Turn four. Have Contender open the gate and give your nearby HOC the buff that removes the Paradeus tree debuff. Move it up to the other tree and disable it. We can now fight Shana. Move your other HOC within range of Shana and use one of your HOCs to take out the mortar position. Now, use your AR echelon to engage Shana. Once you win the fight, you basically win the map. Once the next turn starts, you should win. Thus completing Slow Shock. Congrats.
