1001 EX

Objectives: Survive three turns, then move Helian to the marked console, move Thompson to the marked closed Heliport, while making sure no enemies are in the lab (bottom left part of the map surrounded by gates), and close all gates.

Failure Condition: If you take a fight on the Radar Towers, you fail the map

Recommended Echelon(s): AR/SMG, RF/HG

Echelon Limit: 2

Was Kappa EX not fun enough for you? Because this map is very similar to Kappa. You have extremely limited resources, people to defend, and basically things suck. A lot. Thankfully Persica has some free movement per turn, so we have that going for us. Real neato.

To start us off, we want to deploy our AR/SMG on the left, and our RF/HG on the right. Enemy comps are different on each side, so we want to adjust for that. Be sure to resupply before moving at all. Moving will lock the Heliports and prevent resupplying. Take your right echelon and move it to the left twice, then up twice. Move down to Persica. Move her to the right and grab a dead Golyat, move to the right again and pick up the explosive. Move to the right again and put the explosive on the middle gate. Move through that gate and up to the top gate. Move to the left and grab the last explosive and toss it on the top gate. This will create a funnel we can abuse.

On turn two, move your left echelon to the left twice, then up twice. Move to the right once. Move your right echelon down twice, then right twice. Go back to Persica, move to the left twice, then down to the right once, grab the EMP and move down right again. End the turn here.

On turn three, move your right echelon left twice, up twice, then right once. Move your left echelon left once, then down.

On turn four, Helian and Thompson can now move! A limited amount of nodes per turn. Joy. Each can move three nodes per turn. We also need to get them to the bottom left of the map now. Anyway, have Persica toss an EMP on the enemy that should be knocking on our side door down there. This will clog things so more enemies can't show up in the bottom of the map. Move Helian down one node, left one, then down one node. Have Thompson go down one node and right two nodes. Pull both your combat echelons back to Thompson and Helian. Leave your right echelon above Helian, and your left echelon on top of the Heliport it started at. We do want to grab another EMP to continue the clog, so head out to grab another EMP with Persica. Ideally, I'd grab one that's further away from the gate. So, the one to the left of the gate that Helian and Thompson are going through. You should have enough AP to start moving Persica back towards the gate with the clog.

On turn five, move Helian left one, down one, left one. Swap your right echelon with Thompson to give her a slight boost. Move her down one, then left, then down. Move Persica down right and have her toss another EMP on the clog. You can retreat your left echelon now if you'd like. But move your right echelon down the same path Thompson and Helian are going. End the turn here.

On turn six, move Helian left one node then down two nodes. Have Persica toss a dead Golyat at the clogged enemy. Now we want to move her to the left three times, and up one. We can use her to swap with Thompson here. Have Thompson move down one node and left twice to finish out the positioning we need. Move Persica to the side, and move your combat echelon through the gate. Use the console Helian's on to shut the gates. This should clear the map.
