26 Thus Spoke Zarathustra UX

Objectives: Destroy all mortars and eliminate all enemies

Recommended Echelon(s): AR/SMG (x2), Dummy (x2) one with a parachute fairy

Echelon Limit: 6

 

This map is a bit of a puzzle map. We have a few extremely difficult Hydra death stacks that we need to use the map's gimmick to clear. The first part of the map will just have you mostly clearing out all of the enemies and capturing Heliports. The second part of the map is setting up to nuke all of the Hydras in one swoop. Let's get started.

The majority of the enemies in the map are fairly weak, so we don't need to worry too much about them. However, they are all set to capture HQ AI, so we'll have to deal with them early on to avoid having problems later. So, to start off, deploy your two AR echelons. Have the one on your Command Center grab the Golyat chilling there, then move down left to the enemy Heliport. Have your other AR echelon move to the top left to the other enemy Heliport. Move AR18 up to a third enemy Heliport to the top left of her. Deploy a dummy echelon on your Command Center to use up your last AP and end the turn.

On turn two, move your first AR echelon to the right two nodes to get a fourth Heliport. Move AR18 top left, then right to a mortar. Have your second AR echelon move up to take out the Cyclops, then deploy a parachute dummy somewhere and parachute drop it to the enemy Heliport at the top left of the map. Move your second AR echelon to the right then down to a Heliport. Keep moving to the bottom right. There should be a Cyclops nearby, move to take it out, just be wary of the Hydra, back off if you need to. End the turn.

On turn three, we'll want to start positioning for the Hydra kill setup now. Move your second AR echelon up one node to where AR18 is. Swap with her and then move her to the right one node, then down right to another mortar. Continue on and move her to the right, then down right again to another mortar. Now we're going to use our first echelon to clean up all of the Cyclops running around the right side of the map. Move them up two nodes to take out those two Cyclops, then right one node, and down right another node. Move right again and use the Golyat to destroy the rubble. Move up two nodes to a mortar then top left, left to the last mortar, then down right one node to kill the last Cyclops. End the turn.

Now we're on the last half of the map. This is all to set up the airstrike at this point. For now, we need to move all of our units out of the right side of the map so we can reset the Hydra's positions; do so. Make sure your second AR echelon is still where I had you leave it. Also have your first AR echelon is near the two Heliports we captured early on. Just be sure nothing is in Hydra alert radius.

I spent turn four moving everyone out. I then end turn twice to make sure everything is reset. 

Starting on turn seven. I move my first AR echelon two nodes to the right of the second bottom Heliport I captured. I move my second AR echelon to the right one node as well. End the turn.

On turn eight, move your first AR echelon back to where it started. Move your second AR echelon one node to the left of the second Heliport down there. Move AR18 to this node on the map:

 

 

VERY specifically that node. End the turn when you get there. 

On turn nine, use AR18's skill to call in an airstrike next turn. End the turn.

On turn ten, the airstrike SHOULD come in and nuke all of the Hydras, clearing the map.
