Like her real life counterpoint, ultimately disappointment despite being not quite entirely worse than many competitors.
She's not the worst grenadier out there, but in the end, both 416 and SOPMOD are better than her, and you don't need more than a few grenadiers. She DOES have a mod now. Shame that outside of a few very niche scenarios, the above statement still applies.
Additional Notes#
- Her tile buff isn't bad, but to make it hit an off-tank she needs to be at spot 4, which you really should be filling with a buffing AR/HG, and on main tanks it's pretty meh.
- Her grenade is worse than that of 416 and SOPMOD, while sharing their long cooldown.
- Her direct fire stats are slightly better than 416's, but much worse than SOPMOD's. And 416 gets map buffs during various events, unlike XM8.
Can she work? Yes. Will you have better options? Almost guaranteed yes.
