Heckler & Koch UMP9 Mod |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | Not bad, but also really expensive for what she does | On one hand, she's actually not bad, being a flashbang unit with a solid backup skill (If it's vs. a boss, she becomes a shielder tank instead with some minor evasion buffs) that also helps kill mooks faster. On the other hand, she has a mod3's price tag and opportunity cost, at a time when there's lots of nice mods running around. If you already have a nice set of mod3 dolls, go ahead. If not, consider saving it for later. ...Oh, and you can save yourself the trouble of getting her mod equip. It's kinda pointless on a tank. Her previous iteration can be found here |
AR-57 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Weird multipurpose SMG that can buff allies | She looks like a discount STAR-chan, although it's hard to describe anything that uses a stupidly expensive round like the 5.7 as a discount anything. She has a three second long cooldown and the skill lasts for two seconds. Her big thing is that she can also buff SMGs. She can be used either a mild firepower buff or an actually not awful evasion buff, the downside of which being that getting her evasion buff to work requires moving your dolls around. |

Machine Gun | Special | Extremely accurate to the anime and manga (which is not a good thing) | Props for accuracy. She spends the animoo's story just living in the dorms and only coming out for tests or really weird situations where they cant spare bodies, and she's basically the same in the game - she'll be in your dorms a whole lot. She also has three unique items that affect her passive but otherwise all do the exact same thing. She isn't completely useless, but there's not much reason to pick her over other MGs that don't have finnicky mechanics, because you frankly will not need that many MGs anymore. |
Yurine |
Machine Gun | Special | Better than nothing, but if you have better MGs, use those | Suffers from not only being an MG, but an inconsistent one due to her passive. Her stats are alright, but her passive skill is unreliable, not that it matters much since it only activates on reload. The active suffers from the problem of activating slowly enough that you'd expect MGs to have already killed most of what you'd want to stun anyway. |
PM1910 |
Machine Gun | ★★★★ | Another Entry to the "First Belt or Die" Club | Comparable to the Browning Potato Digger. There must be something about early model machine guns. Her skill gives her an extra long belt that activates three seconds in, and unlike Potato Digger, who sacrifices accuracy and gains firepower, she instead sacrifices reload time while gaining accuracy. While the extra reload time is a pain, she does buff other dolls while reloading instead of being useless. The accuracy boost is nice, but not a game-changer. It may help vs. enemies with a moderate amount of evasion though, given typical MG accuracy is kind of mediocre. |
Serdyukov SPS |
Handgun | ★★★ | Usable | 3* equivalent of Colt SAA. Useful if you're short on REAL AMERICAN GUNS, but given that SAA is easier to get, probably more a trophy raifu. |
Walther PPK |
Handgun | ★★ | Usable | Generally decent buffs esp. at night, and she can be an evasion glass tank (100 evade!) in a pinch. Not bad if you actually kite your pistols but be wary of her limited HP. Honestly, you want a real tank in front still. With her mod, her usefulness continues due to the fairly good buffs she provides. Her unique expedition equip is decent (even more evasion), but the real draw for it is when you can use it with her other unique equips for the set bonus. |
Norinco QSZ-92 |
Handgun | ★★★ | Niche uses | AKA Type-92. High coverage (basically every tile around her) and has a really high evade buff. I'm not sure what you'd use her for these days, but that's really the only thing she has going for her anymore, even if it's no longer used |
Colt Single Action Army |
Handgun | ★★★★ | Usable buffer | AKA SAA - THIS IS THE BEST GUN EV-cough Actually has very nice buffs and a decent skill. Not bad at all in night battles either with the acc up if you have crappy PEQs. Her mod makes her a stronger pick, and more info can be found on her mod article. |
Heckler & Koch YEET KANONE 45 |
Handgun | ★★★★ | Usable buffer | Formerly known as Mk23 SOCOM Highest damage buff among 4* handguns for awhile. Very good for Bamboo Spears too. KR calls her Champy because of weird meme reasons involving weird manhwa. |
LAR Grizzly MkV |
Handgun | ★★★★★ | Decent buffer | Decent overall damage buffer with bonus evade for the tank. If you have her exclusive equipment, her buff is a bit more valuable. Nothing super standout though. |
Dornaus & Dixon Bren Ten |
Handgun | ★★ | Enhancement fodder | Yet another CZ75 clone. Mostly just fodder, but she has a +firepower buff skill that isn't super horrible and a +firepower buff-tile that make her usable in an emergency where you somehow need firepower buffers but lack any. %s are passable but not great. |
Heckler & Koch HK45 |
Handgun | ★★★ | Niche uses | Her damage buff is respectable for a 3* handgun, her tile layout… not so much. The X layout will typically make her excel in a 2SG2MG1HG setup. That setup is very niche and won't come up often. Outside of that, her buff tiles force her into a forward position as main or off tank. She's absolutely not suited for this with her poor HP and evade, and her buffs aren't good enough to really justify it mostly. If youre running and RF HG, you want Calico there usually. |
IWI Jericho 941 |
Handgun | ★★★★ | Niche uses | Another CZ-75 clone, this time an Israeli one! The doll that Negev got her funny ideas from. Also Spike Spiegel's gun. If you don't know who Spike Spiegel is, you really should. Look it up, watch the show, I'll wait. Her passive boosts dolls when they reload which... basically gives other MGs and SGs Negev-like buffs, except weaker. Unfortunately this is not helpful at all for general use because you don't want to be reloading in the first place. She also sucks for judge because judge also hits the back row and so she also eats damage. Does much better for other multimag fights but YMMV with that. The active is ok but the %s are lower than other 4 star dolls are more 3 star territory, and require being in her tiles, which makes your formation kind of cramped, unlike what you can do with K5. It also doesn't help MGs much because... well, the startup CD. |
Cz-52 |
Handgun | ★★★ | Budget FP buff if you ran out somehow | Not much to say. If you somehow dont have enough FP buffing handguns (unlikely unless you're noduping handguns and deploying lots of units in ranking) then she's a budget pick. Not bad for a 3 star HG but she won't see use very often simply because you're likely to have better ones lying around. |
