From the same artist that brought you Negev and IWS 2000. She's a funny SR-3MP with arguably better tiles and, more importantly, has funny targeting mechanics when her skill is active. She weeds out the weak, taking out the trash in enemy lineups. This is actually useful as fuck in boss fights with infinite trash spawns (you'll see an especially annoying case she can help with in Shattered Connexion), or if you specifically need the trash taken out for some reason. Aside from that, she's a normal direct fire DPS off-tank.

Another one of those funny two-mode dolls. She's actually not an awful damage dealer, but her damage is still less than other dolls that are pure damage dealers. Also, despite having a rifle mode, she can't equip AP rounds so you're stuck with only the AP stats you get from her skill.

She might have use in some formations (mostly shenanigans), but most people probably won't use her.

Expensive AND still doesn't do anything useful? Say it ain't so.

Shame, since I like the shotgun, but she sucks harder than the vacuum cleaner she should be using instead of her broom.

Note from Kyazuki: Xecty doesn't like DPS shotguns, but she's alright if you want her for that. Probably not worth the cost for most.

High end MG with good damage potential. Chance to fire an extra shot with every shot, and that has extra damage and can crit (it's not an autocrit, but can crit, see notes). At lvl10, it's actually very steady. With her unique gear, DPS is still extremely high vs single targets. However now we have bullshit MGs like Kord and the like, and being able to murder multiple enemies per shot is the current hotness for mobclear.

Aka 62 Shiki if you're a fucking weeb.

Awful stats, worse skill, and her tiles are nothing impressive either – their shape is good, but a measly 8% armour buff isn't worth bothering with.

She's basically LWMMG, except a 3 star and slightly more annoying to build up. She's like seriously, not even a performance benefit. Their stats are almost identical and they have the same number of shots so you... might as well just raise LWMMG.

Once you start considering mods, it does become a bit more interesting. Her mod gives her a good advantage towards the current (as of late 2023) meta set of enemies. So she can be worth raising for her mod.

Aka FG42; worse than LWMMG, so kinda useless. And worst of all, since MG4 caught buffs (and a mod) she now falls behind MG4 on first mag.

Because we need more things named Type-88 clearly.

Has both active and passive bits to their skill. Her active mode is basically an FP up - you've seen this before. Her passive mode is based on moving around. By default, she's in LMG mode and fires from the shoulder, and has increased movespeed. Her accuracy however, suffers a debuff while in LMG mode (although thankfully her acc stat isn't awful). Once she sits still for 6 seconds though, she sets up her bipod and goes into HMG mode, which gives her an acc BUFF and extends her belt by 2 shots. She switches back to LMG mode if made to move.

Equivalent to Alma. Alma will win early volleys (first 2 mags) but Type-88 will deal more for extended (3+ belts) fights.

With gear, she effectively has a 45 round mag, although shots after her "normal" ammo capacity decrease her acc while upping her FP. This may be good or bad depending on what you're shooting, but she's perfect for low or 0 def enemies that you normally throw MGs at. This is pretty good, but not particularly great compared to the more modern MGs.

A quirk though is if she moves after beginning to go into her reserve ammo, her gun will be considered "empty" and she will need to reload.

The first DPS handgun that actually produces well.. actual dps. Also might have possibly gotten lost from Kancolle.

Her skill gives her doubleshot and 100% crit rate while active, which is surprisingly strong on a handgun. Dont knock it.

Great as the damage dealer for 5HG teams, or a variety of misc. uses since she actually has alright tiles too. While she's not super impressive during the day (especially compared to good ARs), she shines at night due to being able to pack 100% crit rate while equipped with a PEQ.

Her main disadvantage is what a pain in the ass she is to get, since you need the first 5 volumes of the Comic in the Cafe. Her special costume requires the other 5. This is a heap of batteries.

She's pretty decent though, so it's not exactly a waste to do it.

Her Mod 3 unique equip is alright. It lets her punch through lighter armors, and otherwise is excellent at finishing off weakened enemies, rather than wasting full-power shots on them. This is usually a thing with rifles that don't quite instantly giblet their foes. Her tile buffs are pretty okay.

She's alright but not a priority.

Actually has more DPS than G3. Still not great.

Choco tabemase? You get her for free and she performs OK. Has a long history of suffering in the game and may suffer from PTSD. Damage bonuses are nice, and she's just strong enough to take down a Jupiter cannon by herself, provided you have some cannon fodder between her and the Jupiter (which is mostly why she has PTSD).

She used to perform really well, and she does perform OK for cost to raise, but a 5-star and 3-star AR cost the same to actually use, and the newer ARs are much, much shinier. She's still OK but don't get too attached, you'll have better soon enough. Maybe she'll get a mod someday.

AKA Ak 5

An upgraded version of the FN FNC, both IRL and ingame. Like FNC, her 5/8 skill uptime makes her burstier than the 10/16 of G36, with better stats, which evens out to DPS comparable to G36. Not your first choice for ARs, but solid… if you can be arsed to farm her.
