Elphelt

Elphelt
Shotgun Special Usable

She has good stats. But shotgun powercreep is real. Also if you have her, you've been playing a long time. Why don't you have a better shotgun? Huh? Waifu? No, she's shit. Get over it.

On top of that she has a nuke skill that... honestly doesnt usually come up, but when it does, it's pretty much the biggest nuke on a shotgun you get (2 hits for 8x vs primary, 12x area around primary). As a bonus, if the first shot kills the primary, the secondary BOOM changes targets (uses standard grenade targeting). Note that due to her ammo and reload speeds, if you want to fire the first nuke immediately, you will likely need to reload cancel her.

Noel

Noel
Handgun Special Trophy Raifu

Imagine how bad Noel was at her lowest point in her own series. ...Now imagine its worse.

Somehow arguably less useful than P7 who has similar tiles, and her skill is kind of awful. She's a perfect storm of not being particularly good at any 1 thing while also not being really acceptable at any of them. Also she jumps forward during her skill.

This can have unexpectedly bad effects on enemy positioning sometimes, including units... uh.. simply walking past her, to the map edge, which makes you lose. There are arguably some scenarios where she's useful, but those are... niche to the extreme and honestly if you're one of the people who CAN pull those off, you dont need me to explain anything to you.

Jill Stingray

Jill Stingray
Handgun Special Mixing Drinks, Changing Metas

It's time to mix drinks and change formations. As a bartender, one might wonder exactly WHAT Jill can possibly do on a battlefield, and I'm sure she's asking the same thing.

Jill has a lot of firsts. She's the first unit in the game a player can use that doesn't shoot at all. She's the first one to have 8 different unique gears, and she's the first one to have a skill whose effects vary based on equipment. She's also the first one to have such an annoyingly complicated skill. The skill is everything. Her tile buffs are great, but they HAVE to be, because she doesn't contribute damage on her own. What her FP stat does is make her skill CD go down faster (except initial. Also caps at 30%, but this is INDEPENDENT of the reduction from rifle tilebuffs so yes, THOSE stack. Multiplicatively.). Unfortunately this means while she's good, how good she is depends almost entirely on how much you can use her ability to mix drinks, which btw, she can't do properly until lvl80.

Drinks are discussed in more detail in the detail page, because this is gonna be a long one.

Dorothy Haze

Dorothy Haze
Submachine Gun Special Versatile, especially in bed

Yes I know that's not really her name. And yes, you'd think the unit whose hands are actual guns would be a handgun, but nope, she's an SMG. MICAAAAAAAA.

She has a pretty interesting skill that reminds some of C-MS. What it is is mildly more complicated, because it comes with good AND bad sides, and allows her to be both a main tank and an off tank. As an off tank, she provides decent firepower with 100% uptime, a debuff no one cares about (-acc) and a really nice buff (constant eva up!) for the main tank, while as a main tank she has permanent Eva up, buffs acc of the same column ("vertical row") but actually makes the off tanks (or just people in the same column) a little less survivable. Skill discussed in more detail in her entry, but its fun stuff.

A problem she has though is the shape of the tiles. That lacking middle row really gets in the way, but she has enough other uses that this isn't too awful if you know what you're doing (For example, you want to buff the everloving bajeezus out of your main tank's dodge instead).

Also she buffs Rifles with her tiles too too, but this doesn't seem to come up all that much.

Dana Zane

Dana Zane
Shotgun Special Usable

It's the best boss! AND she has a rocket punch!

...She's actually really fuckin' weird for a shotgun. She has 22 armour which makes her decent at shotgun things, but the rest of her kit is pretty nonstandard. First she has a permanent slug effect of being single target but doing bonus damage. You'd think this would make her do less than slugs, but apparently between her raw firepower stats, buckshot increasing her firepower some more, and her unique gear ALSO increasing her firepower, she ends up with more damage than a typical shotgun with slugs.

She does have a knockback skill but it's slow at 8s, and at having 1 ammo limit, it means her RoF is more limited. So if you want a purely tanky shotgun, she's worse at it than a typical one. She does however produce surprising damage from her rocket punches, and she has very good tile buffs for a shotgun.

Stella Hoshii

Stella Hoshii
Rifle Special Trash Cleaner

She has very weird mechanics. I want to say something witty but that's really how it works. The most immediately noticeable thing is that her damage is actually cut in half and she fires twice. This seems odd but no, its not just a visual thing either, and both shots actually can end up on different targets. The first shot uses normal RF targeting, while the other has real time targeting to always shoot the farthest target. Vs heavily armoured (enough that AP rounds wont go all the way through) or high HP enemies, this can be bad. Or it can be excellent at trash clear.

Also note that because she shoots twice, it only takes half as many firing cycles as it says on the skill to get stacks, as she gets 2 stacks per cycle (1 per shot). It also has interactions with Sei and Jill that are in the detailed page.

Pekola

Pekola
Rifle Special Actually really good if you meet her skill's conditions

Yes, Pekola, as opposed to a certain dumb rabbit. The eternally-starving once-most-powerful angel. She actually won't attack at all until you meet her conditions of getting enough buffs. Thankfully, stuff like Python's FP buff stacks count as individual buffs. More hilariously, the fairy talent Fervor also counts as three buffs. This makes satisfying the conditions for her skill actually pretty easy.

What you get for doing so is a ridiculous RF that completely ignores enemy armor and shields. A major downside to this though is she wont deal as much damage as another RF if you don't need such capabilities, since she isn't affected by very many damage buffs due to how she works.

This should be obvious, but you should pick up her unique gear if you plan on using her.

Yurine

Yurine
Machine Gun Special Better than nothing, but if you have better MGs, use those

Suffers from not only being an MG, but an inconsistent one due to her passive. Her stats are alright, but her passive skill is unreliable, not that it matters much since it only activates on reload. The active suffers from the problem of activating slowly enough that you'd expect MGs to have already killed most of what you'd want to stun anyway.

NTW-20 Mod

NTW-20 Mod
Rifle ★★★★★★ Very Weird Removal Specialist

The very first 6 star on EN! And she's... buggy as fuck actually and with more weird shit going on than the UNS secret weapons programs. For example the way she misses her first firing cycle is a patchwork for a different bug and basically it's awkward to use her for a lot of meme things.

Boasting really high FP and multipliers though (especially with her unique equipment and ability to hit 200 affection if oathed), she got converted from a straight boss killer to a very weird assassin that removes certain enemies from the field. Her second skill makes her preferentially target units she can destroy, which makes her actually pretty handy for quick removal. Moreover, if she DOES actually kill it, she gets buffs for the next shot which... unfortunately can miss, which makes her less useful at night for this.

She's not particularly useful right now, but if you have specific needs for that sort of thing, she can work. She is however, a very expensive investment, so make sure it's what you actually want.

RO635 Mod

RO635 Mod
Submachine Gun ★★★★★★ Cant touch this Cue Music

The first 6 star SMG, and oh boy, she deserves it. As long as the damage isn't so overwhelming that it can kill her dummies outright, she has a chance to negate the damage. The chances increase if the enemy has more debuffs or has Marks of Vengeance on them, which immediately makes her a good pair with M4. Also the Sop doll is cute and comes with weird features. This is literally Sop's fault.

Atchisson Auto-Assault 12 (AA-12)

Atchisson Auto-Assault 12 (AA-12)
Shotgun ★★★★★ Good

Sometimes, you wonder exactly WHAT goes into T-doll rations when she looks like that, after having the lolipops. Has a severe sugar addiction problem. Very severe. WHAT THE HELL KIND OF ROBOTS IS IOP MAKING!?

Potentially has a powerful skill held back mainly by the awful initial startup time and the fact LTX exists. On paper, her skill blows USAS away. In practice, they're functionally equivalent because you're using LTX instead of either of them anyway. When it does come up though, it's good for what it does, letting her pour knockback shots at enemies. Armor is alright (middle of the road for shotguns) and is carried by decent stats.

Mauser Karabiner 98k (Kar98k)

Mauser Karabiner 98k (Kar98k)
Rifle ★★★★★ Her Mod Makes her really good

From meme girl with trash performance to actually good. With a fairly quick 4s ICD for not much loss in damage and .5s between shots, she settles into a niche of removal of threatening middle-ish HP units such as Gundams and the like early on, and if you have the unique equipment from Singularity ranking, her initial pre-skill DPS isn't too horrid either. Her mod makes her actually good, amazingly.

JS05

JS05
Rifle ★★★★★ Trophy Raifu

She was part of the group of 5 stars, where they tried out new things to see if they would work. Unfortunately, the wonkiness of how she worked and not playing into how battles played out, AT ALL made her shittier than even the mediocre 3 star RFs. RIP wasted design.

With the revision, it's even worse now. You can literally improve her DPS by turning her skill off, due to the aim time taking longer than normal RoF while still dealing only 1x damage. ...And it still generally doesnt get to punch through stuff.

Somehow, after all this time, she's still in the dumpster. At least Kar98k got some love?

Carcano Modello 1891

Carcano Modello 1891
Rifle ★★★★★ Niche uses

Aka M1891/Strawberrycano.

The rifle you'd expect from the nation that fought 12 battles on the same spot in a row only to lose them all, and then went on to lose mountaineers to frostbite two years in a row in summer. Just look at that smug grin. "Tehee, guess we lost to Ethiopians again!"

…ingame, she has a weird skill that buffs dolls in her column slightly, which will later feature in a few specialized formations that include Python and is sometimes used to buff M82, Kar98k, or her sister, to the point she's been called "Python's Exclusive Equipment" and "Grape's Exclusive Equipment." There's a couple of other niche uses as well (M200), but mostly, she looks like she needs to be supervised outdoors.

Cheytac M200 Intervention

Cheytac M200 Intervention
Rifle ★★★★★ Good

The EN timed exclusive T-doll! AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM!

She's somewhat similar to IWS conceptionally, but due to how her rate of fire works (or rather doesn't), and her guaranteed hits (she ignores evasion/accuracy), she's used in different situations…

M200 is excellent against evasive armoured enemies at night, which are a royal pain in the ass to deal with otherwise. It's possible without M200, by stacking up enough buffs, but M200 just 360 MLG noscope headshots them, which is obviously superior. Unlike IWS, she manages to maintain relevance in current year. Turns out ignoring evade is quite strong.
