CZ100 |
Handgun | ★★★★ | Unreliable Jank | Not even a solution in search of a problem, she's a bunch of solutions to a bunch of problems implemented extremely badly. A victim of Mica's experimental phase, as one of those dolls that don't fucking work. Instead of an infinite duration toggle, she has actual skill durations and alternating effects, making it increasingly unlikely you'll get the effect you want in the time you want, since you need to wait for cool downs to use them. To top it off, her %s aren't even very good and are even more garbo during the day. There are better options if you need 1 or the other, like Mk23 or TEC9. |
FX-05 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★ | Surprisingly OK if you still are short on ARs for some reason, but otherwise eh. | Basically what you'd expect from something that's the standard of the Mexican Army. Frankly, at this point there's so many good ARs that another one would have to be REALLY good to get a real recommendation, and this one isn't going to win any medals, but she has good uptime and is cheap. |
AR-57 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Weird multipurpose SMG that can buff allies | She looks like a discount STAR-chan, although it's hard to describe anything that uses a stupidly expensive round like the 5.7 as a discount anything. She has a three second long cooldown and the skill lasts for two seconds. Her big thing is that she can also buff SMGs. She can be used either a mild firepower buff or an actually not awful evasion buff, the downside of which being that getting her evasion buff to work requires moving your dolls around. |
PM1910 |
Machine Gun | ★★★★ | Another Entry to the "First Belt or Die" Club | Comparable to the Browning Potato Digger. There must be something about early model machine guns. Her skill gives her an extra long belt that activates three seconds in, and unlike Potato Digger, who sacrifices accuracy and gains firepower, she instead sacrifices reload time while gaining accuracy. While the extra reload time is a pain, she does buff other dolls while reloading instead of being useless. The accuracy boost is nice, but not a game-changer. It may help vs. enemies with a moderate amount of evasion though, given typical MG accuracy is kind of mediocre. |
Rex Zero 1 |
Handgun | ★★★★ | P22 but 4 star and with opposite side tiles. | Another of those HGs that buff based on leadership position, with the Squad Lead getting an alright shield and everyone else getting an FP boost (as opposed to P22 which is positional based). Sometimes you might need that mix. If you do, there you go. Else, she's basically a slightly off-brand P22. |
Yurine |
Machine Gun | Special | Better than nothing, but if you have better MGs, use those | Suffers from not only being an MG, but an inconsistent one due to her passive. Her stats are alright, but her passive skill is unreliable, not that it matters much since it only activates on reload. The active suffers from the problem of activating slowly enough that you'd expect MGs to have already killed most of what you'd want to stun anyway. |
R5 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | G41, but looks less like a slut | See G41's entry. Nothing new is brought to the table. Also I emphasize "looks" because her skin is kinda also slutty. |
Webley Revolver |
Handgun | ★★★★★ | Good Utility HG | At some point, G&K started running out of real guns and broke out more of the early 20th century guns. Surprisingly, the dolls with them are actually not godawful. If she's the leader, she gives a general buff, but whatever, most HGs do that. What makes her interesting is that if she's NOT the squad lead, she buffs the hell out of them, thus making her useful in any formation where you want to pack as much as possible into one doll's ability. Lookin' at you, M4, IWS. (And a few others) |
Avtomaticheskiy Pistolet Stechkina Mod |
Handgun | ★★★★★ | Slight improvement, but not an especially large one | Stechkin's base version already got a pass for being usable. Her mod gives a slight increase in her capabilities buff-wise. Her passive basically tries to turn her into a sorta-DPS to go with her buffs to allies, but TBH you'd be fine leaving it at the slight increase in power Mod 1 gives. |
SSAU Vepr |
Assault Rifle | ★★★ | Not really | 3* Ribey. The problem is Ribey herself is only borderline viable to begin with; she has some of the lowest DPS of any AR herself and almost completely relies on her buffs to make up for it, which usually works out to a net positive, but not always. Vepr has both weaker stats and weaker buffs (both skill and tiles), and you won't get dupes of her. Really no point in bothering with her, the free SAA you get from career quests or any 4+ star AR will give better results. |
Heckler & Koch UMP9 Mod |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | Not bad, but also really expensive for what she does | On one hand, she's actually not bad, being a flashbang unit with a solid backup skill (If it's vs. a boss, she becomes a shielder tank instead with some minor evasion buffs) that also helps kill mooks faster. On the other hand, she has a mod3's price tag and opportunity cost, at a time when there's lots of nice mods running around. If you already have a nice set of mod3 dolls, go ahead. If not, consider saving it for later. ...Oh, and you can save yourself the trouble of getting her mod equip. It's kinda pointless on a tank. Her previous iteration can be found here |
Claes |
Machine Gun | Special | Extremely accurate to the anime and manga (which is not a good thing) | Props for accuracy. She spends the animoo's story just living in the dorms and only coming out for tests or really weird situations where they cant spare bodies, and she's basically the same in the game - she'll be in your dorms a whole lot. She also has three unique items that affect her passive but otherwise all do the exact same thing. She isn't completely useless, but there's not much reason to pick her over other MGs that don't have finnicky mechanics, because you frankly will not need that many MGs anymore. |
Borchardt C-93 |
Handgun | ★★★★★ | Niche uses | Potentially really fun with 5HG formations. Actually quite good with Desert Eagle. Some people have used her with Parachute Fairy echelons because that also activates her debuff skill effect, but she's not exactly the go-to doll for a lot of formations. The fact she demands the 1 tile isn't helpful either. |
M1895 Nagant Revolver Mod |
Handgun | ★★★★ | Those who disagree with her get shot. (Funny specialist, but good) | Babushka says not one step backward. Every seventh shot, she gives a damage bonus! Also, the thing starts active, making her one of very few buffers with a start-of-battle skill activation. Her first skill is still defensive in nature, and the percentages got bigger. She's actually useful in a number of situations, either for reducing enemy firepower in specific fights (usually Gundam or tank related) or just the straight DPS boost from the get-go. You only really need her up to Mod 2, but the Mod 3 art is cute. Her pre mod form is here |
Colt Single Action Army Mod |
Handgun | ★★★★★ | You're pretty good! *fingergun* | "Yay, we can all clear singularity now!" Oh wait... :V Fucking Ceia, I swear... Yeah, she's a little over-hyped, but she's actually a fairly solid unit. A stacking buff every few seconds? Not bad at all. This allows her to buff firepower, accuracy and rate of fire all at once. Her main issue is it takes a few seconds for her skills to REALLY kick in, but she's great for the longer fights that start creeping up here and there, and for things like backing up M4 in her railgun mode. Not super necessary compared to before now that we have lots of buffing HGs, but she's handy for things like ranking maps. Another fun thing about this mod you might not know is that the passive 2nd skill automatically activates on a cooldown that you can't see, so rifle tile buffs (which speed up handgun cooldowns) make this activate faster. Her Mod 3 equipment is kinda pointless for her role, though, so unless you like the art or have bad OCD, she's fine at Mod 2. |
