Angelica |
Assault Rifle | Special | Basically AUG but less random | She's basically AUG, but without the random fire mechanic. Which makes sense because she has an AUG. This logic doesn't work for any of the other girls, but shush. If you'd like an evaluation of AUG to get an idea of how good Angelica is, here's AUG's article. |
Walther WA-2000 |
Rifle | ★★★★★ | Good | A high RoF Rifle with good stats. Probably the best one for general use. If you've noticed by now, high RoF rifles are kind of good. |
QBZ Type 97 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Not really used anymore | Civilian version of a gun even the Chinese Army realized was a bad idea. Used to have a niche use for battles that needed fast skills due to her low initial cooldown, excellent uptime, and unique equip, putting her in a good spot as a second-string AR. Unfortunately, there are now lots of good ARs, and the existence of chips has improved a lot of other ARs while she got left behind. |
Taurus ART556 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Usable | Similar to G41 in performance (actually slightly worse, but not significantly) and the artist just drawing their weird fetishes that land you in jail. She's basically a 5 star equivalent of Tavor sharing the primary weakness of taking 6s to startup instead of 4. The skill is good while active, but YMMV. Honestly, the issue with any AR outside of the big mod ones, is that they just get gapped so hard unless they have a niche. ART556 does not. So you could use her, but....eh...? Extra notes available. |
Spikes Tactical AR-15 Mod |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | If you don't use her, you are wrong | The pinkhaired tryhard who is absolutely every bit as good as she says she is. 1 of the best sustained DPS ARs in the game, and can actually hit the RoF cap on her own. She can actually outDPS OTs-14 and 9A91 at night against up to moderately armoured opponents (moderate. Dont try to send her vs Hydras) As a bonus, her mod skill ups her DPS some more by making her pull out ANOTHER gun and throwing extra attacks that do a % of her main damage, with more damage if paired with M4Mod. Her mod skill however, does look absolutely retarded unless you're in her mod 3 form. Normally she's supposed to pull out another gun, but since her school skin and base sprite dont have that animation, she instead fires from her scope. |
Blaser R93 Tactical |
Rifle | ★★★★★ | YZ DELIVERS | YZ personally promised she would be good, so she is. Really nice stats, including the highest accuracy stat of all rifles. The skill seems odd, being a two-parter but she does way more damage than it seems, and when her skill pops off, she pops off. The mix of rate of fire and firepower buffs is bigger than it seems (the stacks are multiplicative with each other), and she ends with a significant approximate DPS increase of 86% with all three stacks of her buff and her firepower buff active. Even when her skill is not active, she has very good uptime versus bosses and other high HP targets due to the passive effect. Because of her nature, she can slot in with almost any other rifle and benefit from whatever handgun buffers you want to use. |
SIG-556 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Tried a new thing, turned out to not really be any better than the old things | Her skill does new and interesting things. The effect is... thoroughly average DPS for a 5 star AR. The problem is that while her initial burst is quite good, the stun puts a massive damper on things. While you can turn off her skill (it's a toggle), unlike K2, the off state isn't interesting at all, being effectively dead time for her skill. However, if you need burst in the time her skill actually works, she can put out. Just be VERY aware of her self-stun and how it can impact you. Because of that, you're likely better off using almost any other t-doll that doesn't require babysitting like she does. Also, I hope the picture makes you feel dirty, 'cause I felt dirty having to upload that here. |
ACR |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Looks good, doesn't quite live up to it. Not awful at least. | She introduces herself as Bushmaster ACR, except she fires in full auto, meaning she's actually a Remington ACR. This is kind of annoying. They should have just let her use her original name of Magpul Masada, seriously. It sounds cooler. That aside, she has the potential to be stronger than AR-15! ...If you don't mind crippling the rest of your echelon's DPS to do so (Dusk has math figures in the expanded section). She's honestly not bad, with 65% DPS up baseline and can get free damage stuff in if you have debuff effects already going, but she's not critical or anything. Basically suffers from "there's lots of super good ARs and she's not super good enough to displace the ones you already have." |
SL8 |
Rifle | ★★★★★ | Good RoF rifle. Demands more representation for other dolls. | Why does she have Shark teeth? Dammit Imoookoooo Despite the teeth, she's somehow the nice HK girl. And somehow, she's the smart one. Look, HK is weird ok? Anyway, she packs as much as 84% damage increase with her skill going at full power, but you're more likely to get a 76% boost in a typical RF/HG formation. Still, she's not bad. In practice she's slightly worse than R93 in most cases, but not usually enough to matter. Note her buff tiles are funny and affect everything, so this makes her secondary ability a little easier to use. That said, she does NOT give HGs the usual cooldown boost most other RFs do. |
Howa Type89 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Tries very hard to cater to the Japanese market. Actually isn't bad. | Ok, so she isn't actually bad. She does, however, have a stupidly long skill like a JK cramming for an entrance exam, most of which is largely irrelevant because all you care about is her damage output. Which I guess is kind of alright. Her skill has a good initial cooldown, and she's actually better than most ARs, but she won't usurp the position of the top ARs. A good pick for your B-team. |
M6 ASW |
Shotgun | ★★★★★ | A damage dealing shotgun that's actually not a complete meme (YMMV still) | Another one of those funny two-mode dolls. She's actually not an awful damage dealer, but her damage is still less than other dolls that are pure damage dealers. Also, despite having a rifle mode, she can't equip AP rounds so you're stuck with only the AP stats you get from her skill. She might have use in some formations (mostly shenanigans), but most people probably won't use her. |
VHS |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Quirky, but has funny potential | No, she's not a video tape. One of her skins shows her recent arrival in the US has apparently given her quite the dump truck ass. Must be all the McDonalds. Her skill powers her up with extra stats relative to the enemies she's fighting, meaning she has basically no real use vs. mooks. Potentially handy vs. bosses, but being a RoF-focused AR, she suffers from chips existing. |
General Liu |
Rifle | ★★★★★ | Fairly useful and unique actually | Named after a Chinese rifle most of you have never heard of, because the dude who it's named after managed to die before he really got the rifle into mass production. Remember those old jokes about Chinese human wave attacks? For a rifle that's basically rarer than non-corrupt Chinese officials during its era, there are somehow enough of them to equip a human wave of dolls, since she can equip a bunch of extra dolls on top of her dummy links. She's actually interesting since her skill can let her swap between forward and back targeting priorities and the sheer number of links she has is useful in situations where you need a large number of hits to deal with enemies' mechanics. It got a lot of use in later rankings for good reason. |
SVD |
Rifle | ★★★★ | Usable | Actually good for the same reason WA-2000 and M14 are. Sheer RoF with decent damage. The only 4 star rifle worth using by default who does not require you to jump through hoops to even matter. |
Orsis T-5000 |
Rifle | ★★★★ | Usable | Like SVD but with +Acc and lower +RoF. Really wants to be used in the 7 position. You might find a use if you still lack either SVD or WA2000 or if you really hate high EVA targets. This goes in particular for gundams, who have armour and evasion, at night. Grape, M200 or even Kar98k are vastly preferred, but T5000 is much easier to get, so YMMV. |
