The famed Tactical Tuna. Will do as well as OTs-12 if you're extremely hard up on resources and need another AR immediately for whatever reason. You won't likely need it since you get the AR team early but if you absolutely must have something or it must be 2 star...

Also known as StG57. Lower DPS than Galil, but has a less awful buff tiles at the stage you will probably use her, because your main tank is probably Sten or something and you'll almost assuredly be running Skorpion that early.

Falls off kinda quickly and has some of the lowest self-DPS among ARs, you won't be using her past the beginning unless you're doing a challenge or really REALLY like her.

The game hates roller delayed rifles apparently.

The new unique equip from the expedition store doesn't help with that, btw. While its stats are excellent (at day…), SIG's base stats are so awful that she's STILL slightly worse than F2000.

You get much better ARs from story events, and there's only so much that you actually need. If you need a cheap AR and already have FNC though I guess she can be useful.

Her exclusive, while it does give her more strength, doesn't let her outperform many 4* ARs.

Specialist that can use AP ammo… in theory. In practice, weaker than standard ARs, even against most armoured enemies. Even the Russians didn't want to have it IRL.

This game has so many good ARs that if you somehow stumble into her, since she's drop only, why would you ever use her? Even in a 3* only challenge account, why?

She's a nonstandout grenadier, and those are basically all meh. Technically she's similar to FNC, except she only comes from events and heavy construction so by the time you get her you will have better ARs.

Okay so maybe China doesn't ABSOLUTELY hate Taiwan? Or else this gun wouldn't have stats literally on par with (or in many cases better than) actual 5 star ARs. She actually outdamages T91 during the day flat out. At night she's a super budget option that won't match 9A91 or any of the better ones, but at least she's cheap. She does however suffer from being a login doll, but she becomes permanently farmable later. Tile buffs are surprisingly alright for a free login doll.

Really a budget option, but at least one that isn't awful.

Gao.

Another 90 gems entry. Her most notable trait is "looks kinda like Python in a Qi Pao."

She's not completely awful, but her performance isn't amazing enough to really recommend raising her compared to the glut of other ARs we already have, and that's a really competitive market. She's also harder to get than FNC.

A Spanish G41 clone/parallel development. Spain replaced it with the G36, and so should you.

Actually hits RoF cap at SL10 without external buffs, but she's a 3* and we're drowning in 4 and 5* RoF-selfbuffing ARs that do the same much better (AR-15 even unmodded and all the 5* ones) or just bypass RoF cap altogether (SAR-21, AUG).

FWIW, better than OTs-12 even if the latter has her unique equip, but we have so many RoF ARs that even nodupers shouldn't have to bother with either.

She's every bit as good as the real thing. By which I mean India went back to using AKs shortly after.

3* Ribey.

The problem is Ribey herself is only borderline viable to begin with; she has some of the lowest DPS of any AR herself and almost completely relies on her buffs to make up for it, which usually works out to a net positive, but not always.

Vepr has both weaker stats and weaker buffs (both skill and tiles), and you won't get dupes of her. Really no point in bothering with her, the free SAA you get from career quests or any 4+ star AR will give better results.

AKA Ak 5

An upgraded version of the FN FNC, both IRL and ingame. Like FNC, her 5/8 skill uptime makes her burstier than the 10/16 of G36, with better stats, which evens out to DPS comparable to G36. Not your first choice for ARs, but solid… if you can be arsed to farm her.

The cinnamon roll heroine. One of three ARs that buffs other ARs. A decent DPS who buffs other DPS. Later upgrades into a fucking metal gear. Which you should 150% get. So regardless of how good she is now, raise her anyways.

With her special gear, she turns into a hilarious tank with 20 armor and 90 evade (more evade when oathed) which, while not ideal for most things, has its uses. Her stun grenade can also be handy. Not really used anymore, but hey if you find yourself back in 2017 farming, she's great.

Not, however, a DPS, unlike virtually all other ARs.
