Unfortunately for her, M14 exists and fills the same niche, but better and cheaper. And doubly unfortunately for her, M14 also has a mod that keeps her still decent.

Supernova is a shotgun pretending to be a handgun to go along with her shipmate GSh-18. She’s one of the most supportive shotguns available and she enables some real dumb stuff. You want to use MGs at night? Well, her skill allows for that. Do you need a little more defensive capability for your shotguns? She brings that too, all in a kancolle-flavoured package. Honestly, she’s not an automatic pick on every team. You’re likely going to have to drop a MG in your formation to make use of her fully, which can be an issue.

Her two main draws are her movement speed and her MG buffs. Her roller skates allow her to go almost as fast as a handgun, but not quite. Not much else to say about that, but main reason to take her is the MG buffs she provides.

While crit rate is nice, the accuracy buff she provides to MGs is fixed. This means that MGs are entirely usable at night. It bypasses the accuracy penalty that you would normally have with no PEQ. While not the most relevant thing currently, you definitely want to have Supernova in your back pocket for the future.

Okay so maybe China doesn't ABSOLUTELY hate Taiwan? Or else this gun wouldn't have stats literally on par with (or in many cases better than) actual 5 star ARs. She actually outdamages T91 during the day flat out. At night she's a super budget option that won't match 9A91 or any of the better ones, but at least she's cheap. She does however suffer from being a login doll, but she becomes permanently farmable later. Tile buffs are surprisingly alright for a free login doll.

Really a budget option, but at least one that isn't awful.

There's so much better now, there's really zero reason why you should run her.

Can she dethrone AS Val's ridiculously solidified position as a top-tier damage dealer? ...Not really. She suffers from wanting some base crit rate, but making use of her crit rate requires either targets with shit evasion to begin with, a ridiculously high hit rate modifier somehow, or some other means of hitting targets at night. She might have some uses, but she's harder to use than AS Val, and you don't get much in exchange for it.

Similar to G41 in performance (actually slightly worse, but not significantly) and the artist just drawing their weird fetishes that land you in jail. She's basically a 5 star equivalent of Tavor sharing the primary weakness of taking 6s to startup instead of 4. The skill is good while active, but YMMV.

Honestly, the issue with any AR outside of the big mod ones, is that they just get gapped so hard unless they have a niche. ART556 does not. So you could use her, but....eh...?

She's one of the dolls of all time. Yup.

On one hand, she's actually not bad in melee. On the other, she suffers from dumb mechanics (like not being able to switch to melee while reloading, which WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY NICE). She's not terrible at the role of "melee shotgun" (she's actually quite good at it), but the number of situations where you'd actually want a melee shotgun are quite limited.

Would you believe that, a login reward that's useless? Yep, here we go again. Had some memes on CN/KR because her original release was broken and crashed the game, but we don't even get that, we just get a rifle too bland to write about. M14 still exists.

This game has so many good ARs that if you somehow stumble into her, since she's drop only, why would you ever use her? Even in a 3* only challenge account, why?

The Night Empress. Unfortunately, she's been going the way of many a monarch with the lower class overthrowing her. She used to be the last word for night battle ARs, but with AS VAL's mod, she has fallen behind. Turns out, being able to use a crit scope at night is very good. That being said, +200% damage at night is still decent and if you can't afford the mod, she's a good replacement.

Also, while enemy armor stacks superhard now, it's actually fine if you have sufficient +FP on your ARs to punch through. If you don't though, this still wont save you.

The Chinese copy of the SKS. Generic 3 star FP rifle that has nothing notable about her besides her somewhat lewd damaged art, and even that's not really much compared to some of the others. She's as boring as she looks, basically.

In a vacuum, she isn't the worst rifle in the game (that "honour" currently belongs to PzB and JS05). But she has less RoF than M14, less Firepower than M14, is harder to acquire than M14, and doesn't have a mod like M14.

...So really, the fact M14 exists basically completely invalidates her existence. MURRICA.

The change of artist did her a world of good. She went from kind of cute to straight up hot. Too bad your waifu still sucks. She isn't the shittiest shotgun in the game, but her mod's not exactly groundbreaking. The decrease in enemy movement speed is almost an afterthought since it lasts one second and she has a very low rate of fire making the skill questionable at best. If the duration were longer and knockback didn't have such a low chance to go off maybe it'd be better, but alas.

The cinnamon roll heroine. One of three ARs that buffs other ARs. A decent DPS who buffs other DPS. Later upgrades into a fucking metal gear. Which you should 150% get. So regardless of how good she is now, raise her anyways.

Very solid 3 star that is actually better than most of the 4 star RFs (SVD, G28 and occassionally T5000 can outperform her, but she'll handily trounce most of the rest.)

You get her for free and she's amazing, due to very fast base RoF for a rifle. Less good now as the better RFs come along, but will last into the higher chapters easily. Now has her mod available.
