AR-57 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Weird multipurpose SMG that can buff allies | She looks like a discount STAR-chan, although it's hard to describe anything that uses a stupidly expensive round like the 5.7 as a discount anything. She has a three second long cooldown and the skill lasts for two seconds. Her big thing is that she can also buff SMGs. She can be used either a mild firepower buff or an actually not awful evasion buff, the downside of which being that getting her evasion buff to work requires moving your dolls around. |
PM1910 |
Machine Gun | ★★★★ | Another Entry to the "First Belt or Die" Club | Comparable to the Browning Potato Digger. There must be something about early model machine guns. Her skill gives her an extra long belt that activates three seconds in, and unlike Potato Digger, who sacrifices accuracy and gains firepower, she instead sacrifices reload time while gaining accuracy. While the extra reload time is a pain, she does buff other dolls while reloading instead of being useless. The accuracy boost is nice, but not a game-changer. It may help vs. enemies with a moderate amount of evasion though, given typical MG accuracy is kind of mediocre. |
HK512 |
Shotgun | ★★★★ | Can buff other shotguns, but isn't great herself | OK, your mileage may vary a lot for this one. Her Armor isn't great and she herself isn't exactly super tanky without her skill up. On the other hand, her skill might buff your other shotgun(s), so it may be useful for that. |
Agent Vector |
Submachine Gun | Special | Must have all her special gear or she's basically useless | She's not the worst tank, but she's expensive to raise, and she needs her ability active to really tank. Unfortunately her base ability is meh, meaning she needs all three of her special gear equipped to be actually any fucking good. With her gear, she's acceptable, with alright uptime, but her barriers are inevitably going to fail and while the evasion boost is nice, the game has other tanks that are just as good. Still, if you must use her for some reason, there are worse tanks... provided you have the gear for her, anyway. So make sure you have her gear equipped and leveled, or don't even bother. |
Heckler & Koch UMP9 Mod |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | Not bad, but also really expensive for what she does | On one hand, she's actually not bad, being a flashbang unit with a solid backup skill (If it's vs. a boss, she becomes a shielder tank instead with some minor evasion buffs) that also helps kill mooks faster. On the other hand, she has a mod3's price tag and opportunity cost, at a time when there's lots of nice mods running around. If you already have a nice set of mod3 dolls, go ahead. If not, consider saving it for later. ...Oh, and you can save yourself the trouble of getting her mod equip. It's kinda pointless on a tank. Her previous iteration can be found here |
KAC-PDW |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Janky and niche | I'm not sure what's more impressive, how fuckin' badly her skill is coded, or how she manages to not wear clothes in any of her outfits despite technically wearing clothes. So the funny thing is, she doesn't get rid of all debuffs in the traditional sense of purging all debuffs. Instead, there is a list of skill effects the game considers debuffs and she removes THOSE. So, if the debuff isn't on her list? Sucks. Also, if a skill causes multiple debuffs but some aren't on the list, she won't remove the ones not on the list. So, she actually removes MOST of the Parachute Fairy debuffs but not the critical rate debuff because that isn't on the list, lmao. The only good news is as an SMG, her critical rate is shit anyway, so you shouldn't care. She also doesn't stop some boss debuffs, though at the moment the only one I recall off-hand she doesn't is Fail's. Yeah, she's janky. Hope MICA updates her as bosses get more debuff attacks. Besides that, the one-second shield can be handy for, say, stopping an unavoidable attack under manual control or for tanking enemies under Parachute Fairy debuffs. |
Heckler & Koch G36 Mod |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Good |
Distraught by the loss of her braid, she gets over it and discovers the TRUE maid was inside her all along. Or something like that. Her stats are boosted a fair bit and the %s on her skill get a boost to 5 star levels. At mod 2, she gets a rider on her skill that boosts the Evade of stuff in her tiles, and also boosts her own RoF by 10% for every unit standing in her tiles (Max 2, yes it stacks multiplicatively). Yes, tile fuckery applies. She does have the problem though that to fully make use of this skill, she needs units standing in the tiles, which weakens her flexibility a bit. Totally still fine for going gung ho and just blazing away in a static formation or if you can keep the formation such that stuff remains standing in the tiles though. Her performance is generally a bee's dick below that of AN94 (and makes a good match for AK12) in general use, but beats the Russians vs armored enemies. Like any good HK product though, she's pretty expensive, so make sure you're sure about the investment and you have nothing else more important to work on (like AR team). Still, if you like the maid, definitely a thing to look at. Technically has a combo thingy with Springfield, but it falls under "I guess it exists?" Yeah, I dunno what they were thinking. |
Dorothy Haze |
Submachine Gun | Special | Versatile, especially in bed | Yes I know that's not really her name. And yes, you'd think the unit whose hands are actual guns would be a handgun, but nope, she's an SMG. MICAAAAAAAA. She has a pretty interesting skill that reminds some of C-MS. What it is is mildly more complicated, because it comes with good AND bad sides, and allows her to be both a main tank and an off tank. As an off tank, she provides decent firepower with 100% uptime, a debuff no one cares about (-acc) and a really nice buff (constant eva up!) for the main tank, while as a main tank she has permanent Eva up, buffs acc of the same column ("vertical row") but actually makes the off tanks (or just people in the same column) a little less survivable. Skill discussed in more detail in her entry, but its fun stuff. A problem she has though is the shape of the tiles. That lacking middle row really gets in the way, but she has enough other uses that this isn't too awful if you know what you're doing (For example, you want to buff the everloving bajeezus out of your main tank's dodge instead). Also she buffs Rifles with her tiles too too, but this doesn't seem to come up all that much. |
Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken AG Parabellumpistole 08 |
Handgun | ★★★ | Core fodder | Aka P08, the Luger, the... it has a lot of names. Also 1 of the world's most collectible pistols. One of the earliest automatic pistols ever adopted by anyone, and a whole bunch of other honours. It was however, not exactly a great battlefield weapon (in fairness, pistols in general were not), and the doll is... mostly that. Has FP and Acc tiles. Not as good as the Chinese Mak Clone or SPP1 for those. Unlike those, has a +eva skill instead of a +fp/acc/somethingoffensive skill. Unfortunately this makes her less consistent than defensive pistols like Nagant, but it has the odd meme use. It is definitely not a practical standard use gun though, and more something you pull out because you for some reason need its weird mix of features (not likely, but it might happen) or are somehow very desperate (much more likely). If you need a night pistol on the cheap though, you're probably better off with... Nagant, Bren Ten, or 1911. |
PSM |
Handgun | ★★★ | Trophy Raifu | ....She has tank stats on a handgun with buff tiles that want her in the back. I'm not entirely sure why anyone thought this was a good idea. |
Walther P99 |
Handgun | ★★★ | Core fodder | I really want to say something good but the closest thing to a real merit that I can think of is "voiced by Ayako Kawasumi." She's basically a 3 star inferior version of P7 with an... "interesting" shape buff and less used than the cat nun. You are likely to be flooded with cat nuns in your eventual quest for Stetchkin. Also, sends you to jail. |
Tula Tokarev TT-30 |
Handgun | ★★★ | Core fodder | Has a kind of an unfocused buffs that... kinda sorta benefit things? She doesn't greatly benefit any lineups, really, and you can get more usable 2 star handguns honestly. Can maybe replace the cat nun in the meme Welrod/Makarov/P7 lineup, but people don't actually use that formation seriously for the most part. Really better off as cores. Maybe one day she'll have a cool mod. |
Heckler & Koch P7 |
Handgun | ★★★★ | Usable | Catgirl nuns should be met with fire. Honestly has some use but.. you are likely better off with someone else, due to her aura shape forcing you to push her to the side to give your tanks evade and kind of unflattering aura in general compared to other 4*s. Probably better as cores but she does have her uses. For example, combined with Welrod and Makarov, the +evade/-acc combo does funny things to enemy hitrates (though its impossible to reduce hitchance to zero). Niche, but you may find some use for such things. |
