Actually good for the same reason WA-2000 and M14 are. Sheer RoF with decent damage. The only 4 star rifle worth using by default who does not require you to jump through hoops to even matter.

Ok, first things first: TURN OFF HER AUTOSKILL AND SET HER TO MANUAL IMMEDIATELY.

Also, NEVER SET HER ON A FRIEND ECHELON EVER.

That out of the way, she's a pretty decent SMG with your choice of permanent passive buff. She renders most of the long-duration-but-average-buff Evade type SMGs completely pointless, having more HP than most, and basically infinite duration buffs you can choose.

Your choice of permanent 65% Evade buff (default), 85% Firepower Buff (2nd choice) or 200% Acc buff (3rd choice). Using her skill cycles between all 3 of them (if you cant tell, they're color coded. Evade is blue, FP is red, hit is orange. If you're colorblind... sucks to be you I guess.) Noone actually uses the Acc buff though. Also if you leave her autoskill on, it constantly cycles between these 3 and it gets annoying. In a friend echelon, you cant turn it off ever so it forever spams it and annoys people.

Oh, and she can load AP ammo, if you for some reason need an SMG that can do that. This does come up sometimes.

Honestly, she's not bad, but there's just...nicer SMGs now.

Or SKS for short. Self-buffs RoF, but with too weak stats. Between G43 and M14 you have enough good low-rarity rifles to keep you supplied while you work on better ones.

AKA ST AR-15, aka Star-chan. High stats, two accessory slots, and Unique Ammo (that you need to farm for) that outperforms regular HV ammo and doesn't require forever to build up. While not considered as OP as she once was, she remains a good unit to raise; if you partially raise her, she basically hits close to RoF cap on her own.

Her mod (and her equipment set) brings her back up to a decent spot as an AR. You can see her mod here

The pinkhaired tryhard who is absolutely every bit as good as she says she is. 1 of the best sustained DPS ARs in the game, and can actually hit the RoF cap on her own. She can actually outDPS OTs-14 and 9A91 at night against up to moderately armoured opponents (moderate. Dont try to send her vs Hydras)

As a bonus, her mod skill ups her DPS some more by making her pull out ANOTHER gun and throwing extra attacks that do a % of her main damage, with more damage if paired with M4Mod.

Her mod skill however, does look absolutely retarded unless you're in her mod 3 form. Normally she's supposed to pull out another gun, but since her school skin and base sprite dont have that animation, she instead fires from her scope.

She's a generic login AR. No one cares.

Aka StG 77, the ARMEEUNIVERSALGEWEHR.

-Her tiles give slightly weaker buffs than Ribey's or M4A1's, but since she buffs all types, she'll also boost your SMGs. This unfortunately isnt as relevant as it once was.

-She was a pretty decent damage dealer vs unarmored enemies, but later enemies are surprisingly resistant and later ARs can punch through. She kind of cant, lacking any real damage increases.

-Her skill sets her RoF to 150 and basically turns her into an MG (sounds included. Yes, it changes her firing sound to match an MG.), with goofy targeting that you CANNOT CONTROL BY ANY MEANS (Including Contender). At level 10, it will have no accuracy penalty

At one point she was a centerpiece of many formations and things were good. Then the game powercrept the idea of raw aspd without damage increase. STAR at least got gear to keep her relevant and punch through armor. AUG has yet to get any love (her SPEQ doesnt help much vs armor and is just winmoar vs unarmored) and so currently has fallen behind.

Time has not been kind to MADCORE's waifu. Lots of demerits for what was once super high end performance, the proliferation of newer rifles that can handle similar jobs for lower requirements has made her much less appealing than she once was.

Unfortunately for her, M14 exists and fills the same niche, but better and cheaper. And doubly unfortunately for her, M14 also has a mod that keeps her still decent.

Aka 62 Shiki if you're a fucking weeb.

Awful stats, worse skill, and her tiles are nothing impressive either – their shape is good, but a measly 8% armour buff isn't worth bothering with.

Okay so maybe China doesn't ABSOLUTELY hate Taiwan? Or else this gun wouldn't have stats literally on par with (or in many cases better than) actual 5 star ARs. She actually outdamages T91 during the day flat out. At night she's a super budget option that won't match 9A91 or any of the better ones, but at least she's cheap. She does however suffer from being a login doll, but she becomes permanently farmable later. Tile buffs are surprisingly alright for a free login doll.

Really a budget option, but at least one that isn't awful.

Can she dethrone AS Val's ridiculously solidified position as a top-tier damage dealer? ...Not really. She suffers from wanting some base crit rate, but making use of her crit rate requires either targets with shit evasion to begin with, a ridiculously high hit rate modifier somehow, or some other means of hitting targets at night. She might have some uses, but she's harder to use than AS Val, and you don't get much in exchange for it.

Similar to G41 in performance (actually slightly worse, but not significantly) and the artist just drawing their weird fetishes that land you in jail. She's basically a 5 star equivalent of Tavor sharing the primary weakness of taking 6s to startup instead of 4. The skill is good while active, but YMMV.

Honestly, the issue with any AR outside of the big mod ones, is that they just get gapped so hard unless they have a niche. ART556 does not. So you could use her, but....eh...?

This game has so many good ARs that if you somehow stumble into her, since she's drop only, why would you ever use her? Even in a 3* only challenge account, why?
