Lithgow F1 Submachine Gun

Lithgow F1 Submachine Gun
Submachine Gun ★★★ Trophy Raifu

She has a stupidly big HP pool, but otherwise her stats are more 2½ star than 3 star. Combine that with a decidedly average smoke grenade and terrible tiles, and you end up with a doll more bland than Foster's. Can be made work if you really want to (give her plenty of evasive buffs), but you're almost guaranteed to be better off with UMP45 if you want smokes.

Submachine Gun ★★★ Trophy Raifu

YANDERE DA NYAAAAA

…For once, an Austrian gun that's not hilariously OP. Instead, she's a 3* IDW with lower evasion and tiles that want her in the off-tank position for which she's useless in. Even worse, she's a crazy yandere and thus a trash tier waifu.

Given that evasion tanks are niche to begin with, and RO is free, not worth bothering with.

Beretta M12

Beretta M12
Submachine Gun ★★★ I guess if you have nothing better

Lower Evade and Higher HP (funnily, the same HP as Beretta 38) than Skorpion or Z62. Italian MGs seem to have a habit of that for some reason.

Has more firepower than Skorpion but less than Z62. Tiles are not the worst, but not great either. The most interesting bit about her is the hilarious controversy when her damage art first came out and was quickly pulled and retouched within about 3 minutes, rather than actual performance.

Would not recommend as a first choice, but if you're scraping the barrel for Molotov chuckers for some reason.

OTs-39

OTs-39
Submachine Gun ★★★ Most notable trait is weird art stuff

A doll most famous for "we forgot to actually add an animation on her chibi for throwing her flashbang." The damage buff is surprisingly high for a free 3 star doll, but really using her means you're probably scraping the bottom of the barrel. She had some use in the early days when there was a severe lack of SMGs, but she was released on EN into an age where units like C-MS, P90, etc. exist, and in the middle of an event where C-MS was basically given for free.

Oh and I guess her damaged art is pretty lewd if you're into that.

T77 Submachine Gun

T77 Submachine Gun
Submachine Gun ★★★ Hahahaha, no

3-star PP-90. An evasion tank with too little evasion to tank and meh tiles, so a core. Her main plus is she has lots of uptime. ...Which doesnt improve her lot any because its still not great, just like PP90.

Schmeisser Maschinenpistole 41 (MP41)

Schmeisser Maschinenpistole 41 (MP41)
Submachine Gun ★★★ The smuggest cores you'll ever feed to better dolls

Combine an MP40 with an MP28 lower and you get a gun that's more expensive to build than an MP40 without being any better. Thanks Schmeisser, real good use of limited wartime production capacity.

…in-game, she's a 3* smoke grenade main tank and at best a sidegrade to MAC-10 with worse tiles and roughly equal tanking capabilities (less evasion, more HP).

Both are worse than UMP45, and Ingram is cheaper to raise, so there's no point in bothering with MP41.

MAS-38

MAS-38
Submachine Gun ★★★ Forgotten Weapons Star

Is your name Ian McCollum? If not, you probably don't care.

She's Honeybadger, but 3 star, and the tiles are kinda upside down.

She's surprisingly alright for a 3 star, but she's not going to wow you.

Insert bad joke about 7mm French Long here.

SUB2000

SUB2000
Submachine Gun ★★★ Meme login doll

Her skill is kinda neat, but ultimately, you're not going to get much mileage out of making 2~3* dolls better. Cool tiles though, I guess.

Heckler & Koch UMP45

Heckler & Koch UMP45
Submachine Gun ★★★★ Good early

Thot Twin #1

Honestly, what you should be looking for in a beginning tank SMG. Decent HP pool, good dodge, a smoke grenade that slows enemies, good aura to support an AR squad, really the standard to which you'll hold early tanks to. Overall, probably the best to have for general use until you get RO635 mod.

If you want more info on her mod, look at her mod article.

Heckler & Koch MP5

Heckler & Koch MP5
Submachine Gun ★★★★ Needs special equip

...You will get her a lot. Most common 4 star SMG. Terror of LSC and master of milk tins. With her unique gear, she's a good dodge tank with a slightly worse invul skill than Thompson or G36C. Without it, she's instead kinda-sorta able to dodge. Which is not bad, but also not great. Has an awkward to use aura unless she's the main tank, which you'd rather have the UMP sisters for. Still better than nothing though. Also gets you into jail. Do not give her protein shakes.

Her mod article can be found here

KBP PP-90

KBP PP-90
Submachine Gun ★★★★ Usable

Actually has one of the highest evade ratings among the SMGs and posseses a skill with really good uptime (15/16!), but kinda eh tile buffs. So why just "usable?"... Because other SMGs exists, and does it better in every way. In addition to having other features that make it better like being able to increase damage or accuracy or evade passively, permanently, and it is very hard to recommend her knowing that something superior in every way is kinda... you know, there.

Arsenal Shipka

Arsenal Shipka
Submachine Gun ★★★★ Core fodder

She's... not great. Basically a worse Suomi with slightly better base evade, a rather worse multiplier, and considerably worse HP. Her tiles aren't great either. Actually worse than MP5 once MP5's milk tin is taken into account. Buffs aren't anything to write home about either. Given you should be trying to get the UMP sisters early on anyway, you're better off with cheaper tanks until you get those.

Izhmash PP-19-01 Vityaz

Izhmash PP-19-01 Vityaz
Submachine Gun ★★★★ Usable

Not to be confused with PP-19. Like all smoke grenade SMGs not named UMP45, she suffers from the fact that UMP45 exists. Or more pertinently, now that RO mod exists. Basically a cross between UMP45 and UMP9, she uses the same smoke grenade stats and having slightly less evasion and slightly more HP she's about as good at tanking, but her buff tiles are awful compared to UMP45's.

In older times she was an alright choice back when there weren't as many SMGs, but these days you should have more choices and if you REALLY need a smoke, Ingram (especially now that you get a free one) can probably tide you over until you get UMP45.

Izhmash PP-9 KLIN

Izhmash PP-9 KLIN
Submachine Gun ★★★★ Usable

Quite literally a 4* Vector. Marginally better evasion and HP, marginally worse firepower and molotov multiplier, identical buff tile. But like Vector, she...is unfortunately not particularly relevant anymore.

Heckler & Koch UMP40

Heckler & Koch UMP40
Submachine Gun ★★★★ Niche uses

Thot twin #3?!

And probably the one that's going to give me a fucking heart attack. Yes, her skill has big numbers. Biiiiig nuuuuuuumbers. Now get your dick off your phone screen and start using your brain:

  • If she does not use her active, she slowly gains evasion over time. Emphasis on slowly.
  • If she does use her active, her evasion slowly drops down to "nonexistent", making her a sitting duck if she's tanking.

In a proper tanking role, her buff tiles are literally useless: 500% crit buff x 5% SMG base crit rate = 30% crit rate if you aren't running a suppressor or a crit scope, and if you are using those, your SMGs will have shit-tier accuracy even if you stack reasonable amounts of buffs on them. At the same time you're losing out on AR buffs, which will extremely cripple your DPS. You're better off bringing C-MS or RO635 to buff your back line instead. Even Suomi can buff her evasion up faster than UMP40 could ever hope to.

If she does use her active skill, it'll similarly take incredibly long for her to really ramp up her damage skill – at 18+ seconds to get her damage above 2* ARs, she competes with Negev for the title of "slowest stacking skill in the game", and SR-3MP consistently out-DPSes her even without any buffs. With the UMPs' exclusive equip. Without, her damage output is even worse.

You can build some silly 5 SMG meme echelons around her that sometimes don't totally suck, but unless you know what you're doing, you should put her on cafe duty.
