AAC Honey Badger |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Decent Enough | Yet another very small rifle that got classed as an SMG. Basically a 4 star SCW, but with much better tiles and less blah %s on the skill. Stats are ok, but not exceptional. Like SCW, trades some firepower for more +eva on the skill. Whether this is worth it... ehhh YMMV. Personally not, but maybe it'll help for some of you?The big thing is really the nice tiles with some extra shootiness. Not the most impressive offtank but there are worse ones and she'll get the job done for most basic applications. She's sufficiently straight offtank that there isn't much to say |
Cz2000 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★ | Decent Enough. Becomes Handy in the distant future | A doll that was forgotten for so long I couldn't find a cleaned up version of her image outside of moegirl. Her skill does different things depending on whether its a day or night battle. Crit and Damage during the day, Hit and RoF at night. She's not actually bad, just that she's not exactly overwhelming good, so she just... kinda exists? And then Shattered Connexion happened and she was helpful against a certain enemy type, but that's far in the future. For now, eh... raise or don't raise, whatever, you'll be fine either way. |
Type-56 Carbine (SKS) |
Rifle | ★★★ | Currently garbage, way better in future | The Chinese copy of the SKS. Generic 3 star FP rifle that has nothing notable about her besides her somewhat lewd damaged art, and even that's not really much compared to some of the others. She's as boring as she looks, basically. In a vacuum, she isn't the worst rifle in the game (that "honour" currently belongs to PzB and JS05). But she has less RoF than M14, less Firepower than M14, is harder to acquire than M14, and doesn't have a mod like M14. ...So really, the fact M14 exists basically completely invalidates her existence. MURRICA. Well, that is for now. Once her mod comes out, there will be reckoning |
M4A1 Mod |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | A WEAPON TO SURPASS METAL GEAR | After literally years, M4 demonstrates WHY SHE IS THE HEROINE and becomes METAL GEAR. She keeps all her old benefits but has 5 star multipliers and better stats now. This gets even better when Mod3 when she gets a unique that ups her firepower and ALSO gives her armour, so she can kinda tank in a pinch. Her buff tiles are ALSO slightly improved. Her mod 2 skill also tags enemies and enhances the mod skills of other Anti-Rain units. The big thing however is the desperation mode. At mod2 onward, when 3 or fewer allied dolls are in battle (you can retreat 2 units to force this, or simply deploy her with a partial strength echelon), she pulls out the portable cannon and proceeds to deal hilarious damage that makes grenadiers wet their pants, as huge AoE blasts firing from every dummy. The blasts are kinda 100% accurate (the main hit can never miss, even at night, but the splash damage can. Its weird), and can partly crit (its complicated), and is meant to be a last ditch thing to save a fight under dire circumstances (of course, we instead abuse it). This is however, a doubled edged sword, as her RoF also goes down, so its possible for some enemies to slip by if you havent taken this into account. Basically, Mod her first. She's pretty much priority #1 for modding. |
T65 Assault Rifle |
Assault Rifle | ★★★ | Budget Option | Okay so maybe China doesn't ABSOLUTELY hate Taiwan? Or else this gun wouldn't have stats literally on par with (or in many cases better than) actual 5 star ARs. She actually outdamages T91 during the day flat out. At night she's a super budget option that won't match 9A91 or any of the better ones, but at least she's cheap. She does however suffer from being a login doll, but she becomes permanently farmable later. Tile buffs are surprisingly alright for a free login doll. Really a budget option, but at least one that isn't awful. Gao. |
Heckler & Koch G36 Mod |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Good |
Distraught by the loss of her braid, she gets over it and discovers the TRUE maid was inside her all along. Or something like that. Her stats are boosted a fair bit and the %s on her skill get a boost to 5 star levels. At mod 2, she gets a rider on her skill that boosts the Evade of stuff in her tiles, and also boosts her own RoF by 10% for every unit standing in her tiles (Max 2, yes it stacks multiplicatively). Yes, tile fuckery applies. She does have the problem though that to fully make use of this skill, she needs units standing in the tiles, which weakens her flexibility a bit. Totally still fine for going gung ho and just blazing away in a static formation or if you can keep the formation such that stuff remains standing in the tiles though. Her performance is generally a bee's dick below that of AN94 (and makes a good match for AK12) in general use, but beats the Russians vs armored enemies. Like any good HK product though, she's pretty expensive, so make sure you're sure about the investment and you have nothing else more important to work on (like AR team). Still, if you like the maid, definitely a thing to look at. Technically has a combo thingy with Springfield, but it falls under "I guess it exists?" Yeah, I dunno what they were thinking. |
United States Rifle, Caliber 7.62 mm, M14 MOD |
Rifle | ★★★★ | Khorne Approved |
What's there to say? Blood for the blood god, etc. She gets bigger %s on her self buff and on Mod2 she buffs her own crit damage. You really want, if possible, to get that Oath ring on her for the extra stats at Mod3. While the new skill %s seem low, combined they pretty much exceed Lee Enfield's self-boost and part of it is a passive. It retains all her old advantages, but just embiggens the numbers a bit. Basically, she can provide IWS-level DPS (overall, not per shot) while maintaining her high (for an FP rifle) RoF, making her very efficient. Generally rated "probably 1 of the best mods to work on after you're done modding AR team" by older servers. |
NORINCO QJY-88 (Type-88 Machine Gun) |
Machine Gun | ★★★★★ | Usable | Because we need more things named Type-88 clearly. Has both active and passive bits to their skill. Her active mode is basically an FP up - you've seen this before. Her passive mode is based on moving around. By default, she's in LMG mode and fires from the shoulder, and has increased movespeed. Her accuracy however, suffers a debuff while in LMG mode (although thankfully her acc stat isn't awful). Once she sits still for 6 seconds though, she sets up her bipod and goes into HMG mode, which gives her an acc BUFF and extends her belt by 2 shots. She switches back to LMG mode if made to move. Equivalent to Alma. Alma will win early volleys (first 2 mags) but Type-88 will deal more for extended (3+ belts) fights. |
Desert Tech Stealth Recon Scout (SRS) |
Rifle | ★★★★★ | Usable | Another piece of Jarv bait. Kind of. Also a vegetarian who dislikes the smell of meat... which of course other servers produced fanart of that has... interesting explanations that involve "does not love the spell of napalm in the morning.". Statwise, the FP-buffing counterpart to T-5000; stats wise she's mostly between G28 and Lee-Enfield, and so a reasonable alternative for either if you need another another FP selfbuffer for some reason. Like T-5000, she had fairly meh ratings on other servers since while you basically had other options and she kinda isn't as good as Lee Enfield during AND is more expensive an option than G28. Her schtick is done way better by M200 and newer rifles can just straight out muscle her even in her niche. |
Stella Hoshii |
Rifle | Special | Trash Cleaner | She has very weird mechanics. I want to say something witty but that's really how it works. The most immediately noticeable thing is that her damage is actually cut in half and she fires twice. This seems odd but no, its not just a visual thing either, and both shots actually can end up on different targets. The first shot uses normal RF targeting, while the other has real time targeting to always shoot the farthest target. Vs heavily armoured (enough that AP rounds wont go all the way through) or high HP enemies, this can be bad. Or it can be excellent at trash clear. Also note that because she shoots twice, it only takes half as many firing cycles as it says on the skill to get stacks, as she gets 2 stacks per cycle (1 per shot). It also has interactions with Sei and Jill that are in the detailed page. |
Dorothy Haze |
Submachine Gun | Special | Versatile, especially in bed | Yes I know that's not really her name. And yes, you'd think the unit whose hands are actual guns would be a handgun, but nope, she's an SMG. MICAAAAAAAA. She has a pretty interesting skill that reminds some of C-MS. What it is is mildly more complicated, because it comes with good AND bad sides, and allows her to be both a main tank and an off tank. As an off tank, she provides decent firepower with 100% uptime, a debuff no one cares about (-acc) and a really nice buff (constant eva up!) for the main tank, while as a main tank she has permanent Eva up, buffs acc of the same column ("vertical row") but actually makes the off tanks (or just people in the same column) a little less survivable. Skill discussed in more detail in her entry, but its fun stuff. A problem she has though is the shape of the tiles. That lacking middle row really gets in the way, but she has enough other uses that this isn't too awful if you know what you're doing (For example, you want to buff the everloving bajeezus out of your main tank's dodge instead). Also she buffs Rifles with her tiles too too, but this doesn't seem to come up all that much. |
Bofors Automatkarbin 5 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★ | Usable | AKA Ak 5 An upgraded version of the FN FNC, both IRL and ingame. Like FNC, her 5/8 skill uptime makes her burstier than the 10/16 of G36, with better stats, which evens out to DPS comparable to G36. Not your first choice for ARs, but solid… if you can be arsed to farm her. |
Fabrique Nationale Model 1949 |
Rifle | ★★ | Enhancement Fodder | FN49 for short. Has a mod that turns her into a more powerful FP-buffing rifle than baseline Lee. Until then, she's okay-ish for a free unit to pair with M14, but has plenty of better alternatives available. For more info on her mod look at this article |
Colt Sub-Compact Weapon (SCW) |
Submachine Gun | ★★★ | Trophy Raifu | The absolute trophy raifu, because getting her is absolute ass, being more annoying than any other chapter exclusive. She is literally the only doll whose farm is so bad I will actually recommend autobattling rather than doing her map over and over. It's THAT bad for what you get and she isn't even worth it except for the 100% completionism. Her tilebuffs are not great (6% Firepower, 10% RoF directly behind her), and her dodge buff is extremely blah for a 5/8. Her self-damage buff is not the worst while having surprisingly high Firepower for a 3 star SMG, but nowhere near as effective as SR3 or later, similar SMGs. Overall, a trophy raifu that you might be able to press into service if desperate enough, but I really wouldn't count on it. |
SIG SG-510 |
Assault Rifle | ★★ | Enhancement fodder | Also known as StG57. Lower DPS than Galil, but has a less awful buff tiles at the stage you will probably use her, because your main tank is probably Sten or something and you'll almost assuredly be running Skorpion that early. Falls off kinda quickly and has some of the lowest self-DPS among ARs, you won't be using her past the beginning unless you're doing a challenge or really REALLY like her. The game hates roller delayed rifles apparently. The new unique equip from the expedition store doesn't help with that, btw. While its stats are excellent (at day…), SIG's base stats are so awful that she's STILL slightly worse than F2000. |
