Micro Uzi |
Submachine Gun | ★★★ | Her mod is good her base is not | An alright firebomber if you don't have Vector, but you won't get a shitton of free copies of her like you do with Skorpion. Slightly but not significantly better than Skorpion at actual firebombing, but has a much much shittier aura. Bullied by a lot of artists for being retarded. Her mod makes her a lot better, rivaling if not surpassing Vector. Look at that article for more info. |
Suomi KP-31 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | Niche uses | A weird hybrid tank that... doesn't have a great base evade, but has a fairly powerful self-evade buff with very high uptime. Her mod adds to that and adds more to her kit. Quite interesting, see her mod entry here |
M1928 Thompson Submachine Gun |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | Usable | The Chicago typewriter, the classic mobster gun (ignoring the fact mobsters actually used M1918 BARs most of the time for actual hits), and TaneRisa-chan proving that even as a gun, she protects us. Highest HP among SMGs but conversely has abysmal evade. Has a very good invul skill though, and is a solid tank overall, though she'll need a lot of repairs after every mission. |
Heckler & Koch G36C |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | Good. Get her mod. | Younger sister of the Ultimate Maid, G36. Classed as an SMG for balance reasons, she's a fairly good tank with alright dodge, very high HP pool, and with an invul skill. A very good all-around tank with better buff tiles than Thompson. As far as general use shield tanks go (like say, dealing with dragoons later), she's actually pretty alright, but some future enemies will make Thompson's HP matter a bit more. Get her mod. Please. It's broken. More info here |
SR-3MP |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | Good | AKA Shrimp A strong direct damage SMG that badly needs an ACOG sight to boost her acc above the standard abysmal rating that SMGs normally get. She's basically an AR that can take the front row rather than an actual tank, since her idea of tanking is "If enemies are dead, I don't have to dodge right?" Very good for raw firepower type SMG/AR echelons, not so good if the fight(s) drag on and she takes damage. If you have enough acc boost (which will need fairies, unless you're up against 0 evasion armoured enemies), you can use a critscope too, which makes her even dumber. Warning though that she relies VERY HEAVILY on gear, so be prepared to shell out for sweet sweet +10 Max Calib Bling Gear to truly make her shine. Also trips lolicon radars and may land you in jail. I sincerely hope that everyone at this point has stopped trying to build echelons around her. Stop. It's ((current year)) just don't. Get help. |
KRISS Vector |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | Strong early, less relevant later. | The flame witch that destroys all with atomic molotovs. Between a 7x damage explosion and 15x more over 5s as a DoT, she's an acceptable tank but does best as an off-tank and dealing damage. Ideal for clearing scouts and other high-dodge targets in night battles, or eradicating swarms. Pump up her raw damage stat and watch the fun. Not great for direct fire, but the molotov is that strong when leveled. Unfortunately, later in the game, molotovs fall off pretty hard outside of farming setups. Still pretty worth it if you need a molotov and don't want to pay for Micro Uzi's mod. |
Heckler & Koch MP5 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Needs special equip | ...You will get her a lot. Most common 4 star SMG. Terror of LSC and master of milk tins. With her unique gear, she's a good dodge tank with a slightly worse invul skill than Thompson or G36C. Without it, she's instead kinda-sorta able to dodge. Which is not bad, but also not great. Has an awkward to use aura unless she's the main tank, which you'd rather have the UMP sisters for. Still better than nothing though. Also gets you into jail. Do not give her protein shakes. Her mod article can be found here |
Heckler & Koch UMP9 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Good early | Thot Twin #2 Almost as good as her sister. More dodge, slightly less hp, and a flashbang instead of a smoke grenade. Largely interchangeable with UMP45 for most things, but bosses aren't stunned by flashbangs. Slightly worse aura. Her mod can be found here |
Heckler & Koch UMP45 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Good early | Thot Twin #1 Honestly, what you should be looking for in a beginning tank SMG. Decent HP pool, good dodge, a smoke grenade that slows enemies, good aura to support an AR squad, really the standard to which you'll hold early tanks to. Overall, probably the best to have for general use until you get RO635 mod. If you want more info on her mod, look at her mod article. |
Z-62 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★ | Too Late to be useful | She actually has a decent hybrid skill and statset except she's locked behind LSC and a shit campaign grind so you'll probably have better by the time you can get her. |
PPS-43 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★ | If desperate | If for some reason you want grenade damage, which is mostly an anti-scout thing early on. Honestly cores most of the time, but if you need to blow up scouts on the cheap, she's better at it than Sten at least. Also has better buffs than Sten, but you're more likely to happen across cheap/free Stens than PPSes. If you DO get a pile of her though, she's at least better than Sten. |
FMG-9 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★ | Collector Piece | Still has OK dodge for a 3-star, but time has not been kind to her since she has no other gimmick and is limited by factors inherent to being a 3-star as well as being hard to obtain, since she only drops from a boss. You literally get better stuff for free now. |
Ingram MAC-10 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★ | If desperate | Good buff, but honestly kinda shit for most purposes (but her buff tiles are better than Sten's if you somehow happen into a pile of her early). You want a better SMG, honestly, but if you're desperate sure? Mostly cores though. Her exclusive equipment is a silencer, and while it gives ten more evade over a regular silencer, is expensive as all hell and doesn't give her a significant boost. It does make her a bit more on par with UMP45's base stats, but with significantly worse tiles. |
Sten Mk2 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★ | If desperate | Ablative armor and a grenade. Has a lot of HP for her rarity with a not so terrible evade, though YMMV between her and M38. Her main virtue is that she's the first 3 star you get from the story and they give you a pile of her so it's easy to stock up bodies. Only useful for logistics and cores once you have real tanks. If you happen across free PPS-43s, they're somewhat better. |
Skorpion Vz61 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★ | If desperate | Lower rarity Vector. Has useful evade. Has shit for HP though and lower atk. Can off-tank alright and her molotov is still good enough to use, but you really want better SMGs. Her primary virtue is that you're given a pile of her at the very start. |
