Name | Class | Rarity | Useful? | Notes |
---|---|---|---|---|
SP9 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | G36Cmod's best friend when she comes out. Useful otherwise. | Alright as an HP tank SMG, but her big thing is when G36C Mod comes into play, she stops the self-damage effect, which makes G36C even better. |
APC556 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★ | Useful for some bigbrain setups. Else literally one of the worst ARs in the game. | APC is kinda one of those things that could work, but if you can make it work, you really don't need this website. |
Mondragon |
Rifle | ★★★★ | Alright if no-duping, otherwise it probably wont come up | She's hot, and that's about all you can say for the most part. If you have a chronic shortage of HGs, she can buff your rifles. If you have lots of dupes, you won't care. |
A-545 |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Decent but not a must raise | (Not a xecty review, take with a grain of salt) She allows you to completely forego crit scopes in shorter fights with her skill. This can be particularly useful at night since you’re now able to crit consistently despite having a PEQ. With her passive 20% boost to crit damage, even in a chip-filled world, she provides a damage increase for the entire echelon. The "target elite enemy" part of her skill isn’t of too much consequence as only A-545 herself will target the elite enemy. Her DPS alone wouldn’t do much to the majority of elite enemies. Do note that her accuracy takes a sharp drop after skill usage, and after two uses she’ll be sitting around the accuracy of an MG, which may or may not impact your damage. |
MPL/MPK |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Neat but not worth it | (Not a Xecty review, take with a grain of salt) These two units are generally considered to come as a pair due to their synergy skill that isn’t mentioned in their introduction post. The synergy skill prevents the debuffs from affecting your team. To add to that, if they are positioned horizontally adjacent to each other, for example with MPK on 6 and MPL on 5, the range of their skill radius is increased by 2 tiles. So that’s why this entry is going to be combined into one. That being said, you don’t ACTUALLY need to use them together, but I don’t really recommend it. While very neat, they’re not very good. They have some very large issues that prevent them from doing what their skill suggests. The main problem is that they offer very little damage mitigation to help them survive. SMGs typically being tanks aside, they’re required to sit on the field for a fairly long time to get mileage out of their skill. Their paltry amount of defense means that most modern enemies will shred them in seconds. The second problem is that you’re committing two slots (typically) to run these SMGs. Two full slots of commitment is a large ask when that’s approaching the majority of your echelon slots. They don’t do enough to warrant that investment. |
SCR |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★★ | Pretty mid | (Not a Xecty review, take with grain of salt) The most notable thing about her is the fact that she has perfect accuracy during her battle rifle mode. This could be pretty useful if not for the fact that generally that’s not really needed, and AS Val mod would outperform her at night. Day battles currently don’t have anything that needs perfect accuracy outside of specific enemies which are better fought with rifles (striders). While you can use her in conjunction with AS Val if you were to use her at night, her performance is very middling. From some observations, ST AR-15 can outdo her in simple DPS tests. One of the major contributors to that is the requirements to effectively use her skill. Supplying a large variety of buffs can just be very awkward to do. To add to that, she stops firing entirely to swap to her battle rifle ammo, which kills some of her DPS uptime. |
Vigneron M2 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Betrayed by skill | TBH, I forgot she existed, because while her skill's effects are nice, she has a 20 second cooldown and 4 second uptime so...lmao have fun with that. Potentially has uses for some enemies, but uh, you usually have better choices. |
Zip .22 |
Handgun | ★★★★ | Usable for MG Comps, has a sorta-busted combo | Has a bright side, unlike her real life counterpart which managed to kill a gun company. Initially pretty meh, though her bonuses are useful to MG/SG comps because the downsides don't matter to them very much depending on how it's set up. She does have a strong combo with PPQ now. You set PPQ as leader, zip.22 will initially debuff the enemies, then PPQ will continue the debuffs, making RO mod functionally immortal. |
Derringer |
Handgun | ★★★★ | Attack Handgun (A lot stronger than she looks) | An absolutely nonsensical DPS handgun that actually can match or exceed Degle vs unshielded enemies thanks to percentage-based damage boosting. Especially good at whittling down damaged enemies and culling the weak, especially with her active letting her just never miss vs. heavily weakened enemies. |
Savage Model 99 |
Rifle | ★★★★★ | Awkward and sometimes self-sabotaging. Very Inconsistent | This doll is EXTREMELY inconsistent due to the way she works. Sometimes she's really powerful, sometimes she sucks. If she kills at least two things, her performance is quite excellent. If she can't, she wallows until she does. If the fight has only one powerful enemy, don't even bother. Her active making her go after the strongest enemies seems good, but in practice it often delays getting her buff, though it can be powerful if you kill things before it triggers. With manual control, this is somewhat less of an issue, but then you can't just AFK with it. She has potential, but goddamn, sometimes it just isn't worth the hassle. |
Villar Perosa 1915 |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★★ | Anti-Boss Buffer, Questionable for other things | No seriously, where in the fuck is G&K getting these? Most people are familiar with this only because it's gotten brought up by Forgotten Weapons and C&Rsenal. Anyway, she's a funny damage SMG in that instead of contributing to damage herself, she makes others hurt shit more. Potentially OK for boss fights (where she can give you a 34% damage increase after a few seconds), but there's very few practical enemy types you'll be shooting for long enough that it'll really be noticeable outside of that. |
Federov Avtomat |
Assault Rifle | ★★★★ | Unique and Interesting Gimmick, mediocre Performance | Where the hell is G&K digging these up? She starts off eh (though a zero second initial cooldown means she has a better opener than many ARs at least), and gets stronger as the battle goes on longer. 33% Damage up and 15% RoF up by about nine seconds in isn't too bad, but for the most part, ARs are the one gun type you probably already have enough of. Oh right and Fairies proc her as well. |
Kolibri |
Handgun | ★★★★★ | Potential Extremely powerful but finicky to use. | A weird Austrian thing with a commissar hat. Despite having a gun that is quite literally going to be stopped by a sufficiently thick sweater, her buffs are potentially quite top notch. However the zero second initial cooldown and her slightly odd conditions mean you may have to do some funny things to play around with her quirk. You may want to have her on manual control for skills, depending on what buffs you're going for. On the other hand, a zero second cooldown also potentially means you can get at least a good FP buff going from the very start. |
Type-80 MG Mod |
Machine Gun | ★★★★★ | Usable, but not a priority | Capped out, her FP stat isnt bad for an MG, and her cooldown time was MASSIVELY cut down (12s instead of 18) making her way better in long fights, she just doesn't have the raw performance of a sheer damage MG compared to someone like Lewis. The passive is potentially useful and she's an alright supporter, but you're not going to be needing her all that much. YMMV. |
F1 Mod |
Submachine Gun | ★★★★ | Pretends to be a more Useful T-doll | Tries to have a gimmick similar to Calico, except Calico has actual useful features to go with it. She isn't the worst SMG, and her mod skill makes it slightly easier to move dolls around, but frankly you could have just put a better doll there. |
